So! My great-great grand father and his older brother killed native people in Colorado with the 7th. Colorado. They were so good at killing after the civil war, both with N.Y. Calv. unit that was all that was left for work. Finish life as warden and guards at Cannon City CO. prison. So!
My paternal grandfather, at one point was a bartender who the came home drunk every night. He later on owned a sand quarry, and later yet, a cigar factory. One of the main roads through our neck of the woods was poured concrete. He supplied most of the sand for many miles of that road.

IIRC he had been in this country for years on some sort of student/education visa. Even when he trysted with Obama’s mother and been all over the country. At some point, he tried to get the University to confirm his work/schooling and they came back with a no-recommend renewal IIRC or something like that.
