U.S. Worsens Mexican Violence by Returning Criminal Aliens to Border Cities, Mayors Say

A coalition of Mexican mayors has asked the United States to stop deporting illegal immigrants who have been convicted of serious crimes in the U.S. to Mexican border cities, saying the deportations are contributing to Mexican border violence.

The request was made at a recent San Diego conference in which the mayors of four Mexican border cities and one U.S. mayor, San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders, gathered to discuss cross-border issues.

Ciudad Juarez Mayor Jose Reyes blamed U.S. deportation policy for contributing to his city's violence, saying that of the 80,000 people deported to Juarez in the past three years, 28,000 had U.S. criminal records -- including 7,000 convicted rapists and 2,000 convicted murderers.

Those criminal deportees, he said, have contributed to the violence in Juarez

So if sending the illegals back is increasing their crime rate (enough that Mexico is complaining/blaming us for their crime rate going up) then it stands to reason that the left and the GOP need to agree that Donald Trump just might have a point!

So, 8 percent of those deported were rapists?
Over 2 percent were murderers?
40 percent had criminal records?

Given that they were illegals I'd say all 80,000 had U.S. criminal records, actually.

Well, they are YOUR criminals.
The US has no obligation to take the world’s criminals off their hands.

Citizens of other countries who are in our country illegaly, whether they have comitted other crimes here or not, should be deported back to their home countries. Even if their home country does not want them back.

I think we should tattoo a big “I” in the middle of the forehead of all illegals who are taken back to the border. Maybe that would make it more difficult for them to sneak back into this country.

Hey...Bozo! Those 80,000 are your citizens, not ours. The fact that 28,000 of those Mexicans broke US laws is your problem, not ours.

Hey Mayor Jose, talk to your Presidente about Mehico putting up a border fence to keep your wonderful people in your own country, then they wouldn’t become criminals, si?

Rather than being deported those with multiple arrests/convictions should be sent to work camps (think POW camps) and put to work everyday with shovels and wheel barrows building 20 foot berms along the border. Excavation ditches on the southern side.

3000 calories a day, cots in tents to sleep on, privies with cut-off 55 gal drums as receptacles - those who can’t dig get assigned to burn and scrape the privies (sound familiar to anyone that served at a firebase in RVN?). One year for each previous deportation. Mexico can have any that they want back after 6 months with the understanding that there will be no second chance if they return. Upon completion of sentence they get deported with a clean set of clothes and $25 bus fare.
