Is This Picture a 'Seed' Sent to Earth by Aliens? Scientists Discover Mysterious Organism

Some scientists believe this is a seed sent to earth by aliens

The never-before seen image shows a microscopic metal globe spewing out biological material feared to be an infectious agent.

Though the origin or purpose of the mysterious sphere is uncertain, experts say it could contain genetic material - the precursor to life.

They sensationally claim it could have been designed by an intelligent species to “seed” and propagate alien life on Earth.

It is the first time anything like this has been seen and points not only to the existence of extra-terrestrial life, but to complex and civilised beings watching our planet.

It follows findings that DNA capable of inserting itself into living creatures and replicating can exist in harsh space conditions.

A tiny ‘plasmid’, a circular strand of DNA used in genetic engineering, was sent into space from Sweden in 2011 on the exterior of a TEXUS-49 rocket.

The mysterious organism has baffled scientists After enduring 1,000C heat it was found to still be intact and with its biological properties when it returned to Earth.

Professor Chandra Wickramasinghe director of the Buckingham Centre for Astrobiology at the University of Buckingham in England, said it is further proof of alien life.

I found Professor Chandra Wickramasinghe but he seems like a bit of a loon who has been writing about alien diseases since the 70s.

So by that do you mean that he's not very good at studying the legitimate subject of alien diseases, or do you mean you've found research that delegitimizes the findings that organic materials can survive long passages through space?

It gets very tiresome explaining this:

"I've been accused, more than once, of being an atheist. I'm not an atheist. I just don't believe in your God."

But, even in your view, if life began on earth, no life preceded it. Certainly you do not believe that. In fact I defy anyone who believes life has a beginning to provide one example of life that did not come from life.

You might appreciate this. One reason evolution cannot be a science (among many others) is because whatever cannot be objectively demonstrated is simply not science. Abiogenesis cannot be demonstrated. (Not a single example of it can be provided that can be observed and examined.)

Heh.
Hey, you’re the one who posted post 33.
Might want to either quit pretending, or try harder not to make it obvious.

“But, even in your view, if life began on earth, no life preceded it. Certainly you do not believe that. In fact I defy anyone who believes life has a beginning to provide one example of life that did not come from life.”

Strawman.
And one used by ATHEISTS at that.
Life came from God.
The Creator of all things.
Surely if you WEREN’T an atheist as you claim, you’d know THAT.

What, exactly, do you mean by "this"?

Sure! Aliens seeded the earth and have waited billions of years to return. Just because. You betcha!

"Life came from God."

My only point was that life only comes from life. Do you not believe your God is alive. Could life come from a God that was not alive?

"The Creator of all things."

I really do not want to offend you, so please understand I am only describing what I believe. The God I believe in is, "all things," including all "creators."

I think you regard anyone who does not believe God is what you think God is must be an atheist. The word atheist means "no god," and generally identifies someone who believes there is no God. Is that right?

"And one used by ATHEISTS at that."

Please give me an example of a single self-identified atheist who rejects evolution. Did you not understand that what I wrote is a rejection of evolution. Good grief!

No, life on Earth started here.
Your post 33 challenges that statement.
Read Genesis 1:20-26

What exactly do you mean by "this"? Is there a certain category of scientific research you already have proof of being bunk? And what category would that be?

The category that comes up with the theory that something they found on earth came from space aliens.

I’d like to ask those “aliens created life on earth” crackpots who or what created the aliens.

Fair enough, at least I know what we disagree on.

I don't.

I'd be happy to entertain such a theory if it were based on anything more than "we've never seen anything like this before. Therefore it came from outer space aliens."

Long ago, a poisoned device like that was used to assassinate someone (sure about that). If I remember correctly, it was reported that the victim said before dying that someone else touched them with the end of an umbrella and caused a pricking sensation (vague memory on that part).
