I can attest to the fact that negotiating with mentally defective people is not possible.
I have been through a divorce.

Jihad is the duty of every muslim. It's mentioned often in their book.

They are not mentally defective.

They are DELIBERATELY NEGLIGENT ABOUT THE REALITY THEY KNOW IS HAPPENING.

They are allowing it to occur on purpose. they seek to use this crap to further their own other goals. Disarming people. Locking the country down. Getting back at Christians. Taking America down for any # of reasons.

“mentally defective” or “improperly formed”?

Or liberals, but I repeat myself.

So why does anyone negotiate with Barackus Soebarkah?

As someone else said, if ten percent of Muslims are radical, that’s two hundred million, and the others don’t really matter.

No there are peaceful moose! Many more than the mohamicidals.

They are the FOB for them. Non combat support personnel. They provide aid, comfort, and concealment for the murderers that walk freely amongst them.

There were plenty of good Germans in America, but we rounded them up. There were plenty of good Japanese in America but we rounded them up too.

There are plenty of good moose in America, WHY haven't we rounded them up yet?

Great.
Now I’m hungry for moose burgers.
Which in this context sounds really creepy.
Soylent burgers, made from moose. Honest.

*groan*

So, is this is why Obama doesn’t negotiate?

Mentally defective implies they have a mental illness. They don’t. They are following the dictates of the subhuman ideology they were born into.

Another part of the problem is our deep-seated refusal to admit that we have enemies. We’re nice people so they must be nice people, too. Right?

We just don’t understand them. And they don’t understand us, probably due to some nastiness or injustice that we inflicted on them, right?

We’re indoctrinated from birth to sympathize with our opponents, to “walk a mile” in their moccasins, to turn the other cheek.

Bullshit. There comes a time when a line must be drawn. And once crossed, woe unto the miserable bastards who cross it.

A Muslim who saves the lives of “infidels” isn’t much of a Muslim, when you think about it. That’s what I think, & that’s what ISIS thinks. He has acted in spite of Islam, not because of it.

The less devout a Muslim, the better a human being.

The Muslim who saved those lives in the kosher deli will now live with a target on his back.

After all, the Hadiths teach that on the last day the rocks & trees will cry out, “O Muslim, O servant of Allah, there is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him”.

This Muslim in the deli did the complete opposite & saved Jewish lives. That makes him an apostate, one would think.

Technically maybe it made him an apostate; I'm not sure about that. Every iman can put whatever spin on the faith they want provided they don't go too far afield. Probably a lot of radicals are drawn to the fire and brimstone, off with their heads, imans. I'm sure he still identified as a Muslim. It's not just a religion for them but a culture and way of life. He was probably happy to work in the Jewish supermarket because they wouldn't have handled pork (I believe it was kosher).

Yes indeed, he may have a target on his back, and I hope he can escape retribution. I would say he was a Muslim with a conscience who maybe didn't fully practice the religion. There are a lot of those. To harsh Muslims I would have to agree it makes him apostate.

I only care that he did a very good deed and may he be rewarded in heaven. He laid down his life for those Jews.

Onion, I thought of that later. Some lettuce, too. I looked them up on google images. The meat is on a vertical spit with the heat to the backside. I suppose there are all different ways of putting them together but I thought the ones we got were lamb, goat and beef. Now they are saying lamb and beef or chicken. I know ours weren't chicken and we didn't get any sides.

The restaurant I remember I couldn't find it but there is one in Columbia Heights (somewhere around Minneapolis) called Filfillah that looks pretty good.

The Arab ones are called shawarma.

Lots of places sell a fake gyro, with small rectangular ground meat patties. Philly Steak and Cheese, for example, uses the patty style of meat.

I don't think you'd know if the meat on the spit included chicken, on account of the spices and the way the meats are blended in the bundle before being put on the spit.

The last "real" one I had was a few months ago, in Broomfield, Colorado. A "real gyro" is one of my favorite foods.

I'll try to remember "shwarma," thanks!

I've never had a gyro I really liked, maybe just one. I got a kit and didn't care for those either, something got dried out IIRC. Finally I found a place a couple years ago, awful. Have to go elsewhere like you must have.

Those meat patties might be ok but never ever the same. And you're possibly right about the chicken (I didn't know until I was googling last night that some are made of chicken).

The shawarmas we had in Minneapolis (I'd never heard of them before and we had to go back for more) and a take out for a husband (400 miles from me on a visit)

The meat on the spit and we had one here for awhile but it didn't stay long (people here probably didn't know what they were plus mall rent). And my kids liked those things, too. They loved falafel the way my sister made it.

It would be a tossup for a "real" gyro and a great hamburger (we don't have one place I like). But I found a recipe to make some at home. Lebanese. So I'd have to improvise on the other ingredients.

Marinade Ingredients
• 5 cloves of garlic
• ½ cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice
• ¼ cup of apple cider vinegar
• ¼ cup of olive oil
• 1 teaspoon cloves
• 1 teaspoon salt
• ½ teaspoon cumin
• ½ teaspoon caraway (ground fennel)
• ½ teaspoon cardamon
• ½ teaspoon of oregano or thyme
• ½ teaspoon cinnamon
• ½ teaspoon nutmeg
• ½ teaspoon crushed peppercorn
• ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper
• ¼ teaspoon ground ginger

I saved the whole recipe but wouldn't use Tahini sauce (that's Lebanese) but cucumber sauce, probably easy enough to make. It said beef with high fat content, can deal with that but would like some lamb, too, guess lamb is hard to get and hard to get a small amount that would slice nicely. Now I'm wondering how they prepare that meat, too hard to do at home, need some machine.

Just buy some pita bread and warm it a little. Slice up some tomatoes, onion, maybe skip the lettuce, good to go. I would probably adjust the spices and leave some out.

These look gross compared to the leaner ones I've seen (I don't remember any fat visible, they were tender and not browned, just heated and kept warm all day and who knows how much longer. The thinner one on the right looks better, may be chicken or who knows.

Odd I managed to remember the name of the Arab version. That was way back in the 70's. I googled it to be sure and even almost got all the spelling right. And I am starting to forget things but I think part of that is processing so much info from the internet plus all I have to keep track of at home.

I've never had a Philly Steak, can probably get them here. I think I could live without one. But it's the juiciness and blending of flavors, then wrapped in paper and the steam helps) that makes these combos so tasty.
