Got shocking e-mail from our school's director just an hour ago that one of my son's classmate's mother died yesterday!
Please pray to God for help and blessings!
I can't even imagine what it would be like to lose your mother, especially at that age.

Check-in: I still do not know what was involved. She has a facebook page, as does her sister, but neither those nor some of their friends or family has shown any remark yet about this.
I DO know the son was in school today! Even though it was the last (half) day before vacation. Very surprised, but maybe dad just wanted him to have some normalcy and the Christmas party just before leaving.
My son said they were told, but the boy did not show much sign. No crying. Maybe he was a bit withdrawn, I don’t know. He said he might have seemed a bit sad, is all. He’s only 6, not real good at observing or conveying all thoughts yet. :)

Prayers for this Mom and her little boy and other family members, classmates, and their own families, this is so hard. I feel so awful for the little boy, especially.

Prayers offered for the family and that friends and others in the church and community will provide love and support for all. I’m am sure your son’s continued befriending the little boy will provide him much needed comfort.
Absolutely heartbreaking. What terrible shock and grief this little boy and his family are going through.
Are you able to tell us his first name? Prayers up for him. I will think and pray for him as if he were spiritually named Nachum, because Nachum means comfort.
