A 2016 ballot without Hillary Clinton or Jeb Bush? You heard it here

Charlie Cook, one of the most respected political experts in the country, believes Hillary Clinton has only a 25-30 percent chance of running for president, and in any case he thinks she is either “rusty” or “she has lost her fastball.” He bases that on her disastrous book tour, in which she said some very inappropriate things and also did not sell many books.

The author of the nonpartisan Cook Political Report newsletter for almost 30 years also disappointed a local audience when he did not give Jeb Bush much of a chance of gaining the Republican nomination.

“Bush has two issues working against him to win the Republican primary for the 2016 presidential election,” Cook said. “One is immigration reform, which he favors; and two, is his advocacy of education reform.”

Neither of those causes would sit well with Republican primary voters, Cook said.

I think that Hillary’s recent health problems with her brain may be the real deciding factor that causes her to pull out of the race, rather than risk being rejected by her own party once again.

Actually there’s three things against Bush: the third one is his last name

No, I would wager it was because she abandoned those people in Benghazi and watched them get murdered in the white hut.

She knows she has too much baggage. She can't give us anything...she has no platform.

She's still playing the "womens rights" card and we're way beyond that.

And Obamacare is Hillarycare. You think she wants to deal with that. It's an embarrassment. An unknown, neat, articulate black got it though....something she couldn't do.

And she knows way down deep that the party is going to do the same thing they did the last time....pull someone out of their _ _ _.

Last week I was out in the woods of Washington County, Maine for a meeting with a Passamaquoddy Shaman. His prediction for the Democrat Ticket in 2016:

For Pres: Joseph " Joey Plugs" Biden
For Vice Pres: Michelle Robinson

Ms. Robinson will be divorced from Mr. Obama prior to the election, as she has tired of her role of Beard in Chief and she will then enjoy the campaign support of her cousin, The Rev. Jesse Jackson.

Carefully studying the underside of a tree mushroom, the olde shaman also recommended that the Republicans run someone who can channel Eisenhower, the last Republican President under whom the Republic was completely functional.

Let’s take a hiatus on Ivy Leaguers in the WH.
The last NON IL was Reagan.

Rumor has it the Clintons were so toxic on the campaign trail that Chelsea is begging them not to campaign when she starts running for office....

Severance is a legal term. He simply got paid off. I bet his retirement was vested as well.

All he had to do is ask the chief if he wanted to ride as his partner the first few weeks.

This fool obviously doesn’t realize nominees are not picked by the people.

Well said.

It’s self-described as non-partisan. Plenty of rich libs are happy to shell out the money for it.

Seriously doubt it. Kasich has been ok, but his expansion of Medicaid made him an Obama-lite in terms of health care. He is not a dynamic guy, more of a policy wonk. Don’t see him as a national leader.

Plenty of rich conservatives do the same thing, but its really for the politicians, the professional campaigners, the lobbyists, the PACs and the big donor groups. They are not paying for party line, the networks do a great job at putting that out there.

It will be Bush and Clinton.

We are doomed!

Maybe you are doomed, but I'm not coming with you.

Who does pick the nominees?

I've got $ 1,000.00 that says it won't be jeb bush vs hildabitch.

Put it up, mouth.
