Michael F. Haverluck, writing for OneNewsNow, notes that, "Women and men in the city of Cleveland will soon be charged with $1,000 criminal fines for voicing a problem or discomfort about a person of the opposite sex using their restrooms. This also goes for businesses that express customers’ uneasiness over a person of the opposite sex visiting the inappropriate (or non-traditional) restroom. Cleveland schools must abide by the ordinance.
Cleveland’s recently proposed and reviewed “transgender-inclusion bathroom and locker room ordinance” is not the first of its kind, as Houston and numerous other cities have also visited or enforced measures that award local residents the special right to use whatever facility they choose, regardless of their natural gender.

That is ridiculous, a fine for complaining that a man is in the little girls room with your kid maybe??
Kinda fitting really...all this transgenderism is a bunch of crap that needs to be flushed down the toilets to the sewers.
The homosexuals, perverts, deviants and pedophiles are pushing this crap. There is no way in hell that I would EVER pay a fine for using my first Amendment rights.
I do not live in (nor ever would) Cleveland but I wonder what the law is regarding CCW?

There is no such thing as a "transgendered person." If a man "identifies" as a woman, there's something wrong in his head, not in his body.

this cant be a true article because there is not enough Prozac in the WORLD to bring me back from insanity if it is true.
I can just see glowering dads standing guard over their wives and children in the restrooms. Suddenly, perverts will find it is not so much fun going into female restrooms. If they complain, pay up one thousand dollars.
I am skeptical this law applies to, or at least will be enforced against, individuals other than employees of a business.
Freedom of speech and all that would, at least I hope, protect an individual who complained or objected.
For a business, however, to deny access would be a violation of the law.
BTW, we set ourselves up for this with the civil rights laws of the 60s, which I still believe were needed. Almost anything can be forced onto people with this precedent if you can define the group you’re “protecting” as discriminated against.
Truly odd society where it’s a violation of civil rights both to not provide trigger warnings against words on paper that might offend someone, AND for someone to object to sharing intimate facilities with someone of the opposite sex.
Surely B is infinitely more offensive by any rational scale than A, but the lady offended by B is supposed to shut her mouth and suck it up.
It can’t stand. The first judge this comes before will throw it out as a 1st Amendment violation.

It is long past time for this country and society to move back toward sanity.
Whatever analogy you want. Doesn’t it seem like we’re in the last stages here? Pretty soon it will all be gone. I’m scared! Every day feels like a bigger leap than the day before towards all out communism/anarchy/I don’t know what. I keep hoping that everyone else feels it too, and they will all wake up and come together like AMERICANS!
But then...the other day there was a D-Day series on and I just thought, they don’t make ‘em like that anymore. We are all so soft and lazy now. And so many Americans are just so dumb. It’s a lost cause.

Anyone who votes for this kind of law needs to be watched, very carefully.
A fine for saying something? This law is invalid and therefore non-binding.
The real goal of this “law” is to force us to believe that sex is a social construct, and a person can move from one “gender” to another at will.
It pretends to create a new victim class: people who don’t act in accordance with their biological sex.
Transgenderism is another means for government to create chaos just like the notion that all cultures are of equivalent social value.
Why?
Pretty soon we’ll have slit trenches all over the country just to satisfy the immigrants who are accustomed to their use.
We’ll try to satisfy every ethnic group except the honkies.
