Black Gangs: Memphis Police Giving Up on Public Safety

'Danger: Enter at your own risk, This city does not support public safety' billboards put up by Memphis Police Association

What's happening in America? A race war fought only on one side seems to erupt in its cities every so often, maybe more frequently than we hear about.

"Another Teenage Mob Terrorizes Southern Town: ‘Memphis Is Going to Burn if They Don’t Control These Children’" headlines The Blaze, echoing a similar episode of a few weeks ago.

As in the UK when paedophiles are Muslim and their victims white, so in the US the mainstream media try to underplay the fact that the gangs and the attackers are black and the victims they choose for their knock-out game, in a city like Memphis whose population is 62.6% African American, are predominantly white.

Hence WREG-TV reported:

Three people were attacked by a large group of teenagers Saturday night.
Can we be more specific?
“Hold on, they got a white dude,” exclaims the woman capturing the cellphone video.
Memphis' black youth gangs are so terrifying and crime levels are so high that last year the Memphis Police Association installed billboards saying “Danger: Enter At Your Own Risk – This City Does NOT Support PUBLIC SAFETY.”

One thing about Obama’s amnesty plan... if Mexicans and Central American Latinos over-run the cities, the blacks had better watch out. They will organize, they will have protective gangs, and they will fight. They’ve had to do it in their non-US lives before, and it hasn’t been educated out of them.

I work here in Memphis and live right across the border in Mississippi. You most definately stay away from the streets named after a state.

Interesting. Areas under the control of America’s two first and foremost certified victim groups are dangerous areas where your life is worth nothing. They murder and rape anyone and everyone. And yet the government continues to coddle them and worship them and give them special privileges.

"Memphis Police Giving Up on Public Safety"

If Ebola gets around, those in agencies across the whole country will be hiding and continue to keep job security despite that.

Good for the Memphis P.D.

THE NYPD can’t do ramdom stop-and frisk anymore, even though crime had dropped.

Our military, with the tough ROEs often cannot use their weapons.

They are letting the inmates run the asylum.

Is the “Memphis Police Association” a police union? If so, it would explain the billboard.

The billboard campaign was over fighting to keep the union negotiated pay and benefits in place.

Good for the Memphis P.D.

The head of Memphis PD, if I remember correctly, is Toney Armstrong, who was previously the homicide Lt. featured from time to time on the A&E reality show The First 48. He is an Army vet, but his mannerisms always impressed me as more Marine-like; he was certainly no-nonsense.

Maybe they could clean up Memphis. Unfortunately, the blues bars might have to play some mariachi music, but it might be worth the price.

I grew up in the Mid-South, and it’s sad that Memphis has become the southern equivalent of Detroit. Neighborhoods like Orange Mound are literal war zones; once “safe” areas like Whitehaven are now the hood, and violence is steadily rising in places like Bartlett, that were almost crime-free 10-20 years go.

There’s a reason that Desoto County, Mississippi is one of the fastest-growing in the country, and places like Fayette County, Tennessee aren’t far behind. Anyone who isn’t a gang-banger or part of the Memphis political class has moved out of the city over the past 20 years.

I was back in Memphis for a convention two years ago; the event was held at the Marriott downtown. Luckily, I was able to stay with my son and daughter-in-law in northern Mississippi and drove to the convention each day. Attendees who were staying at the Marriott were warned NOT to go walking outside their hotel at night. After dark, the only police presence downtown is around Beale Street and the FedEx Forum; outside of the tourist and sports destinations, it’s the wild, wild west.

To me, it seems stupid and dangerous for whites to hang out in a city that is 63% black.

I too grew up in the Mid South, even lived in Mid Town Memphis for awhile. My aunt and her husband were mugged in their driveway and they live in East Memphis, which was a very good neighborhood once. My lives in Memphis and says it is manure pile now.

Very true. It seems some people in America are precious, while others are disposable.

"They are letting the inmates run the asylum."

Umm, almost. "They" are in fact the inmates.
