Back in the 1950's my grandparents lived on Dallas Street between Barron and Deadrick, just south of Orange Mound. A Norman Rockwellesque neighborhood at the time. They became part of white flight to Frazier in 1962. Memphis was one great town back then. Thank goodness I have not had to return since 1973. Still have cousins in Raleigh and Arlington.
