On CNNs Reliable Sources this morning, host Brian Stelter spoke with radical Muslim cleric Anjam Choudary...
I believe that the Shariah is the best way of life, he also said. I believe that one day Shariah will come to America and the rest of the world.
... He then contended that there is no such thing as radical Islam.
There is no such thing as a radical or moderate form of Islam, he said. You know, a woman is either pregnant or not pregnant. If you abide by Islam, and you follow what is in the Koran and the traditions of the prophet then, quite frankly, youd never find anything that I say which does not have Islamic basis.
Youll find that those people who differ from me believe in secularism, freedom maybe theyre being paid by the government to say what they say, Choudary replied.
The conversation abruptly ended when Stelter said, heres what bothers me: when we were setting up for our interview here, the audio engineer asked you to count to ten to check the mic, and you started to do that but then you said 9/11, 7/7, 3/11. Is this all some sort of joke to you?
You know, Choudary said, if you had a sense of humor, you would have laughed at that. It was just a soundcheck. You shouldnt take any of these things that seriously. If you want to make it a big deal, then do so, but it makes you look much more shallow, really.
I have nothing more to say, Stelter responded.

“CNN Host Ignorant Beyond Belief: Rose Colored Glasses Working Great”
All of them need to be kicked out of this country.
I have the use of a 60 foot boat which is another option.
I’m stunned that the CNN interviewer brought it up instead of trying to suppress it. In many ways, I thought this interview was better than Hannity’s (which quickly degenerated into a shouting match).
It seemed that the interviewer really wanted to get at the truth—which means he will not last long at CNN
Cammeron in the UK is looking for new powers to deal with folks like this while we give them platforms for their crap.
Great jokes! Do you happen to work on Wall Street? They always love jokes like these.
Bema seat? Sorry, I am a Christian but don’t know that term. Figured I’d be judged at the Throne and hope to be granted the option of being a street sweeper in His House.
Pls educate me. /NO sarc
Why is ken5050 stupid for recognizing that the gipper tweaked his opponents in the same way? Just because we liked that joke doesn’t negate the principle.
I have a sense of humor too and I’d like to joke with him. My counting goes something like this;
“.357, .40. .44, .45...”
I wish he’d come over.
LOL
What the host should have told him was,
“Hey asswipe, WE don’t joke about 911, get the hell
out of my studio and my country!”
And this guy Choudary is not swinging from a tree, why?
Hey, I’ll bet those are the Principles of Allah that Jimmy Carter thinks we should all live by.
KFI TIM CONWAY SHOW: Great Reagan anecdote from cadet at fundraiser

Because the Kenyan squatter is in town, Tim Conway show was discussing fundraisers. Callers, who have attended fundraisers, were phoning in and telling what happens at the events. Here is the best anecdote.
A young cadet from Cal State Fullerton was there with other cadets as part of the Honor Guard. When Reagan greeted them, he asked the cadet his name and was open to a question from him. The cadet said, “Can I ask anything?” The President said he could. So the cadet said (paraphrasing) -
Cadet - Mr. President, do you remember when you were doing a sound check and said you were going to bomb the Soviet Union in five minutes?”
Reagan - Yes.
Cadet - What in the world were you thinking when you said that?
Reagan - (a few seconds of silence) Well, a boy can dream, can’t he?
Or he could have replied, “Hey, what about 9-11-16?”
“9-11-16?”
“Yeah, that’s when our President nukes Mecca!, Some
joke on you guys huh.”
Why give him a National Platform and a Mike?
Actually I hope some idiots in this country heard it from the horse’s mouth. Can’t blame that on ‘right-wing anti-diversity Christian fanatics’.
My suspicion is that there will come a time when Mecca is turned to glass.
The basic meaning of the word in Greek is a step or a pace, but it is then applied to a raised place or tribune from which someone would speak in a public assembly or a law court.
I don't know if there are any passages where the word is used in connection with the Last Judgment.
