Why is the Obama Administration Putting Government Monitors in Newsrooms?
The Obama Administration’s Federal Communication Commission (FCC) is poised to place government monitors in newsrooms across the country in an absurdly draconian attempt to intimidate and control the media.
Before you dismiss this assertion as utterly preposterous (we all know how that turned out when the Tea Party complained that it was being targeted by the IRS), this bombshell of an accusation comes from an actual FCC Commissioner.
FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai reveals a brand new Obama Administration program that he fears could be used in “pressuring media organizations into covering certain stories.”
As Commissioner Pai explains in the Wall Street Journal:

On Thursday afternoon, Ukraine’s acting interior minister, Vitaly Zakharchenko, issued a statement confirming that police had been armed with combat weapons.
“I signed an order and police have been given combat weapons, which will be used in accordance with the law,” Zakharchenko said in a statement published on the ministry website. He urged protesters to hand in their weapons and opposition leaders to condemn radical actions.

If there is a shred of decency left in even the most liberal of “news” media, they ought to resist this with all their power and means of persuasion (which, literally, is all they have), and finally see the Current Regime revealed for what it is - the North America Nationalist-Socialist Workers’ Party, the modern successors to the Third Reich and the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei that once was in control of Germany.
We are only a few steps away from “Kristallnacht” and massive book burnings in the central plaza. That was followed by interment camps, and what was determined to be the “final solution”.
The question is really rhetorical. Although most Americans have been misled into believing the Nazis were on the right, nothing could be further from the truth. To really understand what happened in Germany in the 1930s, you need to understand the tactics that Obama and his tacticians have been employing, here, over the past six years.
The difference between Hitler & the Bolsheviks was not a deep ideological one, rather a difference in the tactics of economic control. The Nazis did not confiscate the major German businesses, simply forced the owners to serve the new consolidated German State (Hitler, immediately upon obtaining dictatorial power, terminated the rights of the German States.)

Thus, here, the broadcast media is allowed to remain private, but the Party operatives will force an acceptable pattern of behavior. You have before you already, example after example that this is not mere hyperbole.

I didn’t have time to read the article. Does it mention how to tell the government monitors apart from the news reporters?
AS disgusting and aggravating as this is, it is also unnecessary. The media does a fine job of sticking to the government script.

The FCC claims that the study is “voluntary,” but the commission licenses the broadcasters that it seeks to monitor. The threat of penalties and even license revocation is real.
The United States under President Barack Obama has fallen to 46th place in the world in press freedom, according to Reporters Without Borders.
