Why do we want to depose Bashar al-Assad?
self

Seriously, should conservatives even WANT to depose Bashar al-Assad?

It is clear that Assad's biggest crime is being Western educated and a strong leader. THAT is what got him in trouble with the Islamofascists and their allies in the White House and the American left.

Assad may be brutal, but he is the closest thing we have to a representative of WESTERN civilization in Syria. Shouldn't conservatives be arguing for a political solution that would keep him in power and keep the Islamo-nuts OUT of power?

Obama and his pals want to depose Assad because since Egypt dumped Morsi and the brotherhood they need a new home. Homey Zero has decided that Syria should be that home.

According to Dear Leader, no reason, no objective at all.

“I want to reassure our allies and the people of Syria that what we are about to undertake, if we undertake it at all, will have no purpose or goal,”~Dear Leader, Sept 2013.

But even so-called “conservative” leaders fall into line with the “Assad must go” mantra. I think the Tea Party and other pro-America groups should speak up and tell them to support keeping Assad in power.

I don't know any who do. The ones I hear calling for him to be ousted aren't conservatives (Kristol comes to mind).

GOP leaders in Congress have called for it. Heck, even some of those who don’t want to bomb Syria give lip service to the “Assad must go” idea.

The above quote from Obomber is from August not September.

The bigger question is...

why has Obama orchestrated the overthrow of Arab governments for the Muslim Brotherhood (aka “Arab Spring”)?

It is like a bunch of city kids standing around stirring an ant hill with a stick. But they don’t know that after you get it stirred up you are supposed to douse it with gas and light it up.
