Seriously, should conservatives even WANT to depose Bashar al-Assad? I don't know any who do. The ones I hear calling for him to be ousted aren't conservatives (Kristol comes to mind).

GOP leaders in Congress have called for it. Heck, even some of those who don’t want to bomb Syria give lip service to the “Assad must go” idea.
I say we should he HELPING Assad!

Kristol comes to mind If you ask Kristol "should we bomb...", he'll nod and say yes before you even name the country. Kristol just loves projecting American power as long as he is not personally at risk.
