The great zot thread of 2008 was wild. God only know has many FReepers got the zot in just that one thread for comments supporting Giuliani.
But the “Newt or else” era was worse. Much worse. For several weeks in early 2012 one didn’t dare post a negative comment regarding Newt over hundreds of threads or the would be zotted.

That makes zero threads so far, who are these posters and where are the purges of freepers who supported Santorum for instance who were zotted for merely saying something negative about Gingrich, why weren't you zotted?

You just can't support your claim of people being purged for saying something negative about Gingrich.

Trolls and and anti-conservatives get zotted, but as you prove, merely being against Gingrich meant nothing to Jim Robinson, regardless of what you are accusing him of.

Debate is fine. We’re all individuals, and for the most part, we don’t do groupthink. During the primary, I backed Newt Gingrich. Some backed Santorum. Some backed Cain. We went to war with each other and that was fine. We had spirited debates and all was well after the primary was over.

However, we don’t want to be beating back troll after troll, either. It becomes tedious. There are certain things that are simply universal truths and they cannot be denied.

They are, in no particular order:

1. The US Constitution is to be interpreted as written.
2. Our rights come from God, not the government.
3. Homosexual “marriage” is evil and should be fought every step of the way. Homosexuals do not need and are not entitled to special rights not granted to other Americans.
4. Abortion, under any circumstances, is murder.
5. The United States must do as it sees fit on the world stage, regardless of whether or not the UN, EU, or the rest of the Alphabet Soup New World Order likes it or not.
6. Israel is a close ally and should be treated as such.
7. Affirmative action is just as wrong as any other type of racism.
8. The redistribution of wealth is wrong and there is justification for it whatsoever.
9. Illegal aliens are criminals who should be punished, not welcomed with open arms.
10. RINOs, liberaltarians, and paleocons are not our allies.

Anyone who rejects these universal truths are not people to be reasoned with. They are Marxists, either culturally or economically. As such, they are contemptible little slugs who should be shown the door as quickly as possible.
