Newt’s alleged negatives are as nothing compared to Obama/Biden/Pelosi/Reid.

The weakness of the GOP field has now apparently acted as a blow to the head of Republican voters, who have collectively forgotten why they never liked Gingrich in the first place.

I don't get some of these hysterically-written pieces. This is what the primary season is about. As each candidate gets traction, the focus turns on them.

Is it really so bizarre?

I wish a conservative publication would actually tackle the legitimate problems of Newt rather than dealing with so many irrelevant issues. No one cares about Newt’s marriage problems or most of the stuff they mentioned. So he’s mean? What conservative in his right mind would decide to vote for someone based on meanness or niceness? His record needs to be properly examined by someone rational. There is a ton more REAL baggage when you examine his voting history going back a decade, not to mention his betrayals of the Tea Party and comments against “right wing” extremism.

Newt is only conservative in soundbytes. But these libs are only strengthening his position amongst conservatives who don’t know their history.

The surge is propelled...by the fact that he is a better alternative to his gaffe-prone and often incoherent 2012 rivals.

LOL... Newt is winning, he is going to continue to win and he is going to destroy Obama. Then, America will begin to turn around and I believe that will begin in great effort........ beginning on day one.

Our Realistic Options: Obama, Romney, Newt. I’ll take Newt any day of the week.

So? We're electing a President, not a f**king Prom Queen.

The field isn’t weak. This must be this season’s most repeated accepted wisdom. Looking back in history, this group is pretty good. Claiming that Gingrich is not propelled by his own strengths as a candidate, I don’t get at all. Newt is a brilliant man and a gifted rhetorician. It’s exactly his strengths that have pushed him up. Other candidates gaffes are magnified more so in modern times because there are recording devices everywhere and most of the media hates them. I don’t like Newt because he wanders off the path, but I don’t buy any of these arguments.

The Newt Gingrich 'Boomlet' Isn't A Real Thing

OK. Lib rag [Non]BI doesn’t like Newt. Perhaps his rising poll numbers aren’t real. Hmmm.

The surge is propelled …

Oh, wait … so you really mean there IS a real surge? And your headline is a LIE?

The surge is propelled … by the fact that he is a better alternative to his gaffe-prone and often incoherent 2012 rivals.

Hmm. Now Newt’s surge or boomlet is a fact and is ‘The Real Thing’ but it isn’t due to Newt’s strengths at all, only that he is a better alternative to his rivals.

EPIC FAIL.

Newt is a horrible, mostly leftist candidate. But some of his ideas are excellent, such as his proposal that students do some of the janitorial work in schools in place of union workers. Too bad they will never happen.

I am supporting Cain in the primary, but unlike Romney, I could actually bring myself to vote for Gingrich in the general if he won the primary.

I won’t vote for Romney or any reason.

As the campaign heats up and the primaries get closer, there will be lots of attacks leveled against Newt - most of them baseless and false. And they’ve already started...

Here is a new link from the campaign, which provides the official responses to many of the current attacks being made against Newt. Readers are invited to submit queries about other attacks they would like the campaign to address.

It is a great addition to Newt’s campaign resources, and provides lots of ammo to reply to the falsehoods about Newt currently making the rounds everywhere. Please use these responses whenever you encounter attacks or lies about Newt.

Get the word out there!

We can’t let the media destroy our candidate... Not this time!

This Primary has been tough for me. None of the current field make me get that "Chrissy Matthews tingle" up my leg. I really wanted to support Herman (and may still vote for him in the end), but truth be told, he doesn't come across as someone who has a firm grasp on much outside of running a business. True, business experience is a plus, but there needs to be more "there" there besides that.

Secondly, I will NOT vote for Mittens - period. If he is our nominee, I will write in someone else. I feel that Mitt is being pushed down our throats and I don't like it one little bit!

Newt has never been real high on my list, but I do want to beat Obama and think that Newt would evisserate him in a debate. But Newt has a ton of baggage too that makes him less than ideal. I wish that guy "None of the Above" were running!

Yes, Gingrich has flaws. I can’t think of a candidate that doesn’t. Gingrichs’ flaws however are personal failings for the most part although he has taken some policy positions that give me pause.

I still prefer Cain but could support Gingrich.

Primary = anyone but Romney or Huntsman.

General = anyone but Obama.

It a shame W.C. Fields is dead. He would be perfect in the role of Newt Gingrich.
