The surge is propelled … by the fact that he is a better alternative to his gaffe-prone and often incoherent 2012 rivals.

Hmm. Now Newt’s surge or boomlet is a fact and is ‘The Real Thing’ but it isn’t due to Newt’s strengths at all, only that he is a better alternative to his rivals.

I like what you posted, but it’s hard to tell if you are pro-newt. I’m for Herman Cain, but he has stood up and said we need to end abortion and that he will set the EPA straight, that they work for the people, not against them.
