Occupy Wall Street Supporters Push Ron Paul for President

The 'Occupy Wall Street' "movement" demands free money, free living, free education, and free jobs from the government. Another thing many of their supporters are pushing for: Ron Paul in 2012. The amount of pro-Paul writing is quite surprising, particularly because the group has stated that they believe "all politicians" are corrupt and evil.

Apparently Mr. Paul is an exception. That's why you have declarations like this on OccupyWallSt.org:

Yeah...you don’t have to like Ron Paul in this forum but these people would be crying in their hash pipe if they actually had to deal with Paul’s free market policies. What a bunch of idiots.

I wouldn’t count on Rabid Ron becoming president. Of the people I know who are perennial Ronbots, almost every last one of them has decided to get off that impending train wreck over the last couple of weeks.

I know some Ron Paul supporters who are ardent supporters of the Occupy Wall Street Crowd.

They think of Ron Paul is being against the bankster establishment and the capitalists.

Ron Paul is FAR from being a conservative. He’s a whacky libertarian who spends a lot of time recruiting young people to work for him, overwhelm straw polls, and the like.

And he pretends to be against big government, but he’s one of the biggest pork guzzlers in the house, which helps explain why his district continues to re-elect him. He spends a LOT of time talking one thing and doing another, all the while appealing to young people with time on their hands.

So this is not really surprising.

Somewhat overboard. Most of the young ones would settle for a job from anyone with an income to pay for their education. Like it used to be for their parents before Wall Street greed and constant war diverted the nation, is their message. I doubt they see Paul as their economic salvation but agree with his get out of war position.

Here’s something the Occupy Wall Street folks might consider:

Top Contributors — Barack Obama (D)

Top Contributors — John McCain (R)

These folks are useful idiots.

Well, someone who wants to dismantle most of the federal government is not likely to be corrupt as he would have less power as president, so this makes sense. However, I wonder if these folks protesting agree with Pauls stance against wealth distribution and for abolishing the IRS... seems a lot of them are sort of leftist.

I really think the man is losing it. I used to trust him on some issues but at this point I’m not sure anymore.

Obamavilles popping up all over the country.

Shut them down, throw away all of their possessions, go through with a high powered water hose and then a street cleaner.

Take the remaining defiant, disgusting, idiot, dirty hippies to ‘camps’ to work their frustrations out and to know what it feels like to do a good day’s work.

Great. So now gop will also be blamed for the ows actions.

Bunch of hippies, communists, anti-semitic nutcases. I truly despise and hate that senile anti-us anti-west fanatic.

Now I know for certain that the “protesters” need to step away from the bong-they would hate Paul as POTUS just as much as anyone else who isn’t a rabid Marxist the instant their snouts got yanked out of the trough and they were made to start paying off their student loans-NOW...

I do also tend to agree with Paul about the “brings the troops home” concept..BUT station them at the US-mex border. We cannot be police to these ungrateful POS sh*thole countries.

The Paulites I met at a State Policy Network conference a few years ago sounded like hippies who don't like taxes and support the Second Amendment. Admirable stances on those two issues, true, but complete flippin' moonbats on everything else.

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
