“The Undefeated” Documentary Premieres to Packed Atlanta Theater(Braves pitcher was there)

Kennesaw, GA - The Georgia-based Volunteering4Palin organization announced the opening show of the new film, The Undefeated, experienced robust ticket sales on Friday night at the AMC Barrett Commons 24 Theatre in Kennesaw, GA. Many groups worked together to raise awareness of the film, which they believe is a must-see for every American, regardless of whether people are Palin supporters, and regardless of political party affiliations.

According to Mark Wohlers, the former Atlanta Braves pitcher who stood on the mound as Atlanta won its first World Series Championship, “I’ve been fascinated with Governor Palin since she entered the national stage. I believe that if she decided to run for President it would be for all the right reasons, so I wanted to see this movie. There has been so much media distortion that it’s difficult to know what to believe. I encourage everyone to come see the movie, forget everything you’ve heard, and decide for yourself. I’m a big fan.”

One politically active teenager that attends Woodland High School in Henry County, Sousaan Guyton, encouraged eighteen of her friends on FaceBook to attend. According to Rob Cunningham, founder of Georgia based Volunteering4Palin, “There is a nationally powerful, grassroots enthusiasm level among teenagers. He added, "Sousaan and her friends really connected with Sarah Palin and her story. They wanted to know why they had never learned these facts before tonight.” Sousaan is one of approximately nine-hundred members of Youth4Palin, a national volunteer organization founded and directed under the leadership of Elizabeth Hawkes.

Sahar Hekmati, an original Tea Party member, Georgia GOP Chairman for the 13th Congressional District and President of National Conservative Republican Women, contacted everyone she knew to attend one of this week's premier showings. Mrs. Hekmati said, “I read “Going Rogue,” and I strongly believe Sarah is absolutely prepared for the very serious challenges our nation faces.” She went on to say, “I especially want women to attend this movie, because I know they will relate to the events in Sarah’s life.” Hekmati emphasized, “This movie is a great way for people to understand how politics really works.”

Victory Film Group and Stephen K. Bannon's latest, The Undefeated, starring Mark Levin, Tammy Bruce, and Andrew Breitbart is in town for a limited engagement, opening this Friday, July 15th, at the AMC Theatres - Barrett Commons 24 at 2600 Cobb Place Lane Northwest.

Documenting Gov. Sarah Palin's rise from small town mom to national firebrand, the movie profiles the woman who became the nation's most popular governor and set the stage for a country-wide discussion on the government's role in our lives.

I watched this in Orange County last night. Overall, it was a good film.

However, as a Christian and Conservative, I have a problem with Tammy Bruce’s appearance in the film. She is an openly Gay and Pro-abortion and it was wholly inappropriate for the film makers to include her in the film.

Sarah Palin is against both homosexuality and abortion, so it was unwise to have Tammy Bruce in there.

People should rid their lives of sin and then they are welcome to associate with you, right?

“Sarah Palin is against both homosexuality and abortion....”

Sarah Palin is not against homosexuality. Where did you get such a dumb idea?

maybe, but it’s a big whole huge umbrella of tolerance. Sarah won’t write off people who don’t agree with her. I have read that Governor Palin vetoed a bill prohibiting same sex marriage on the basis that the people in Alaska should decide that question. I liked that.
I like Tammy.

.
So then you would be outraged if Tammy’s fans were to vote for Sarah Palin?

Sarah Palin is a self-described Christian. Homosexuality is not compatable with Christianity.

Homosexuality is sin. I assume she is against sin. What true Christian isnt?

I haven't had the chance to see the film yet. Does Tammy support Sara in it?

If she does,it would be powerful message to the prochoicers and maybe the gay communities that what we have here goes way beyond social issues.

Sorry.

I don’t think a blatantly immoral person should be appearing in film endorsing Sarah Palin.

Despite what some of you RINO’S may think, homosexuality is blatantly immoral and a sin.

It used to be that when people boasted of their sins as if saying “evil is good and fine”, they were shunned. There is a big difference in sinners who are trying to perfect their lives, and those that give into the devil and do not acknowledge the truth in the Bible.

Role models should have the appearance of trying to do what is right in the eyes of our Creator, since that is where our rights originate, along with Universal Truths that are the basis of our government.

I like Tammy Bruce in some ways, but her worldview is antithetical to much of the US Constitution, since it is based on Natural Law and God’s Laws. It is an insult to men and mocks God’s design of human beings and the body. It actually is idolatry, since it assumes she can decide right and wrong.

I am sure it was a political move to place her in the movie BUT is also undermines Palin’s Christianity because it is giving a platform and prestige to a lifestyle incompatible with the Bible. It is no different than what Notre Dame did when they allowed zero to give their commencement speech—it glorifies and gives a platform for evil. It is the slippery slope to moral relativism which is the most destructive ideology in the history of man. Palin is wrong to elevate and give credibility to such dysfunction which is so destructive to the relationship of men and women—so sexist and hateful and destructive to the forming sexual identities and innocence of children.

Palin Film Debuts in Kennesaw

http://kennesaw.patch.com/articles/sarah-palin-documentary-debuts-in-kennesaw-2

When Sarah Palin said, “More government is not the answer,” the audience in theater 8 at AMC Barrett Commons 24 erupted with applause.

SNIP

Reactions from filmgoers attending the screening were overwhelmingly positive.

“I support Sarah Palin because she’s a true American patriot,” said attendee Irma Munoz. “I have been a supporter of hers since 2008, when John McCain actually brought her onto the stage. I do believe she’s a godly woman, a woman after God’s heart, to do what is best for America, and not necessarily herself.”

“I believe she’s honestly just a great person,” said Garrett Wilson, who traveled from Chatsworth, Ga. to attend Friday night’s screening of the film. “Seeing what she’s been through and that she’s still smiling, after all that’s been said about her,” Wilson said, “the fact that she’s still able to go out there and speak her mind and try to influence policy is wonderful.”

“I think Sarah Palin is the only one I’ve seen that will tackle the establishment,” said attendee Polly Harper. “She has integrity, she’s honest, she’s tenacious, she overcomes obstacles and she keeps going.”

“It’s going to be a game changer,” said attendee Kendall Gault. “It’s a really good film, it shows a lot about her history as a politician in Alaska and really sheds some light on her career.”

From "Indywire," an industry tracking publication ("Will the Release Strategy for “The Undefeated” Lead to Victory?")

“We looked at a bunch of data on similar films, as well as Palin’s book sales and a lot of demographic information,” said Trevor Drinkwater, CEO at ARC. “We tried to find the cities with the best chance of success on opening weekend.”

According to Jill Calcaterra, chief marketing officer at Cinedigm, other favorable factors included “Tea Party states and areas where we knew Palin had a strong following.”

As to the chances for the film’s expansion, Drinkwater only says, “We want to expand. When we announced the film, we asked consumers to vote online so we could gather information about the number of places the film would do well, and the response was overwhelming.”

ARC Entertainment declined to share the specific figure they would need to hit over the weekend. Said Drinkwater, “We’ll make the decision on Monday.”

My take: The film opened in ten theaters, has an estimated production cost of $1m (meaning that P&A is probably another $1m). If the movie had packed houses in every single showing in only ten theaters, I find it difficult to believe it will be anything but a flop as a theatrical release. Of course, it's possible that the producers can make their money back at Target, Wal-Mart, and Netflix. I'd sure hate to rely on those entities to make back $2m.

Bruce’s involvement is not inconsistent with Palin’s inclusive philosophy.

Are you insinuating that I can only vote for a “perfect” person?

What reality do YOU live in where you think people can be perfect?

Or do you think that people like Bruce have the right to tell God what is good and evil. The arrogance is staggering....and the god-delusion is idolatry.

Every one makes mistakes and Palin made one here. It is good to learn from mistakes and maybe she will. Moral relativism is the slippery slope to hell and allowing people like Bruce to parade their arrogance and hatred of God’s design is not a “good”.

Christians have got to start calling sin, a sin, because what we have is a generation of very confused people because as children they were “conditioned” into “tolerance” through the cultural Marxist PC schools which want to redefine good and evil according to Marx.

They are trying to destroy the Word of God, if you hadn’t noticed and make the Bible hate speech. Europe and Canada’s Marxist indoctrination has accomplished this....America is close behind with this forcing of DADT repeal and “homosexual marriage” which destroys the natural rights of children to be raised by biological parents and helps destroy the ability of Christians to raise children with a Christian worldview—the one which for over two hundred years made this country the most successful one in terms of freedom, equality, creativity, and wealth in the history of the world. Changing the “worldview” to an atheist/Marxist/pagan/hedonist one will destroy that which made this country exceptional and lead to serfdom.

Dignity of every human being and individualism and subsidiarity is the philosophy of Christianity which made the US into the powerhouse that it is along with Adam Smith’s economic theory and had made Europe great and powerful in its glory days.

But US was special—in that our rights come from the Judeo/Christian God and, therefore, there are Universal Truths—right and wrong—good and bad-—that can not arbitrarily be changed by Marxists. It was incorporated into our legal system — the morality of Natural Law and Thomas Reid (Common Sense) and the Bible.

Tammy Bruce drank the koolaid. Hopefully , she will discover the Truth. She does show some tremendous aptitude for logic. She just needs to open her eyes and study Natural Law Theory and the traumas in her childhood which made her reject God.
