Just got back from the 1:50 PM showing of The Undefeated in Grapevine, TX. Attendance was roughly 75 people (I sat by the entrance and counted). The Undefeated is everything that rave reviewers have claimed. Thankfully, my wife and I saw the G rated version, so we weren't assaulted by the filthy vitriol in the clips of the rabid leftists at the beginning of the movie. There were an awful lot of *bleeps* during that part.

Because I've paid close attention to Governor Palin ever since her arrival on the national stage, I'm already familiar with much of what was in the movie, but Steven Bannon managed to tell some parts of Sarah's life story that I wasn't familiar with. He provides a lot of detail around her rise through Alaska politics that you won't find in her book. Interviews with people who rose along with her, or who were on hand to watch that rise, really add a lot of depth to her story. It helps to explain just who this woman is, and what her core values are.

Bannon goes to great lengths to show how she stands apart from partisan politics, and how she is much more of an American Originalist, than anything else. I've made the same observation about Palin myself, but Bannon seizes on this one unique aspect of her character, and boldly underlines it.

There's a reason that she enjoyed an 88% approval rating among Alaskans before joining John McCain as his running mate. It's because she doesn't approach public service from a perspective of partisanship (although there's no doubt that she's staunchly Republican). She approaches the task of governing as a hard-nosed administrator of the Constitution - pushing back against anything that deviates from, or which violates that basic framework. Like Reagan, she believes that government should be a servant of the people, with limited powers, subject to The People's authority.

The Undefeated shows a person of unimpeachable character and good will, who simply wants to see our nation achieve its full potential. The movie shows a person who sees big government, high taxes, corruption and cronyism, violations of our Founding Charter, and feckless politicians as the stumbling block to us achieving that promise, and one who is determined to do whatever it takes to see this country righted.

What I got out of the movie, is a picture of someone who has clean hands, and who cares far less about partisan politics, than getting this country back on the right track. I also saw someone who has more courage in her pinky toe, than any ten politicians have in their entire bodies.

After seeing the movie, I can also say that I see someone who's running for president. It's quite clear that that office lies along the natural trajectory of her path in life. Watch the clips of her acceptance speech in 2008, and you can clearly see that she had the natural bearing of that office, even then. It's in her eyes, in her speech, and pours forth from every pore of her being. I saw it then, and I just saw it again today.

Go see the movie, no matter where you stand on the developing presidential race. If you already support Sarah Palin, you're going to learn a great deal more about her than you already do. If you don't support her, you may discover that you agree with her a lot more than you did previously.

Palin had nothing to say about the composition of the movie. I didn't say did. I think she is a Christian. Not a woman's libber. Also, she makes mistakes. So she might have been tricked into endorsing the movie (if she did). I remember reading that she had never heard or seen those nasty remarks until she saw the movie. But no discussion of the gay support it shows. I still believe in her, but I think she is wrong if she is allowing this.

Liberals are hammering this, so sign up and vote it to 10 stars.

Done!

Saw the movie today and loved it. Everyone in America should see this film.

Sir, a quick perusal of my posts will prove to you that I do not approve of homosexuality and in particular I do not approve of their aggrssive efforts at marketing their perversion in the schools and at Boy Scout camps and so on. And, no one on FR is a bigger supporter of Sarah than I am. So, by now, I hope I have established my bonafides with you with respect to the issue you raise. Namely, in your mind, Sarah should not have anything to do with people like Tammy Bruce.

Sir!............there is a big difference between “not approving” of homosexuality as you and I do and banning them from the face of the earth! You should guard against becoming known as a one issue person. Alan Keye’s, probably as a good of a conservative articulator as there is around, got labeled a one issue guy after years and look what happened to him. The goal is to get Sarah in the Oval Office for god sake!....................not for her to be in lock step with every single conservative on every single issue!

“So the disciples were without sin?”

Heck no, but the disciples would have been kicked to the curb if they started endorsing/praising sin.

I guess this is where people find fault with the uber worldly feminist's close relationship with Palin.

But then, these are friendship and politics at play, not Church. Does Palin support open buggery in the military and abortion on demand? Does the feminist chick influence Palin’s world view? If not, no concern, but if Palin feels she needs to compromise, we know what her “Fruit” prefers.

I love SArah, I have told my friends that she is Gods Choice for POTUS. But I love the truth more. And I am sure she does too. We are all struggling here having lived in a corrupted society. So lets not judge, lets just get to the truth and THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE US FREE. I’ll betcha’ Sarah would say the same. I’m quite sure she wants to be corrected if she gets out of line.

If she's *allowing* gay support? Oh brother... I will ask again: are any of your friends sinners?

My best friend is agnostic, and I would give my life to save hers if I had to.

I find it amazing that anyone here would object to a gay person openly supporting a conservative. If forces were attacking from every side and my friends rallied to defend me, I don't care who or what they are. Sometimes, friendship (and Christianity) go deeper than politics.

I've a question. In The Undefeated is it made clear that Tammy Bruce is a pro-abort lesbian?
I'm wondering because Bruce has lately been 'demanding' full disclosure from the Bachmann campaign on the matter of Marcus Bachmann, his clinic, and the 'curing' of gays.
So, I'm sure that a person such as Tammy Bruce who is such a stickler for full disclosure would naturally not want to hide the fact that she's a pro-abort lesbian from those viewing The Undefeated.

I’m not nitpicking....you are. I’m just pointing out that “Conservatives” who think it is ok to have an unrepentant homosexual in a movie and glorifying them and give them a platform, which tacitly gives approval to their lifestyle—is a moral relativist and not a true Conservative. You can not be conserving the values of our Founding Fathers and God, yet, portray to children (and normalize) the idea that homosexuality is a natural and “good” lifestyle.

The Founders outlawed the behavior which stayed the same for hundreds of years—knew it to be an extremely vile way of life, disease-causing, narcissistic, because it mocks men and women and leads to discord between them. But what is intrinsically evil, is that the behavior mocks God and His design for a flourishing life with continuity. Trying to rewrite Natural Law Theory is also extremely arrogant and hardly “Conservative”. You should assess your use of that term. YOUR language is flawed==and therefore your whole scenario.

Would these people say the same of Dick Cheney and not vote for him? I see a double standard with Sarah. I do not agree with Tammy on everything but I enjoy listening to her. Same with Cheney but I would have voted for him.

Your posts make me very sad. You are uninformed and projecting your own orthodox beliefs on a fellow Christian. Did you read her emails as Governor of Alaska? I don’t think so. You would be applauding her today, if you did.

There is nothing wrong with the movie.

The movie does not promote homosexuality, nor abortion, and your attempt to twist the facts to make the ignorant believe that it does is pure pro-obama trolling IMO.

Do you see how evil works? Why do you think we love Sarah so much? Because she understands you can't let evil flourish. You have to stop it. And she did with people in her own party and with rich powerful oil lobbyists. SHE STOPPED THEM IN THEIR TRACKS.

Everyone else either didn't see it, or saw it and didn't have the grace or understanding or cajones to deal with them.

I am in California where the gays have been insinuating themselves into our culture little by little, day by day, illegal immigrants too. We are people pleasers here! LOL We didn't want to stand up to them and allowed it to happen.

Now in a couple of weeks our kids from Kindergarten on will HAVE to learn the history of gays as if they were blacks (predjudiced for their color). They are not discriminated against because of something they can't help. The kids will be reading and forced to doubt their own common sense, that it is not 'normal' to be gay. Just like we have been forced to accept sleeping around, girls having babies out of wedlock, taking God out of everything, women are smarter, braver than men (they are always 'saving them' in movies and tv shows these days! LOL Have you ever noticed. She beats up some moron while the man stands helplessly by!)

Evil knows that by legitimizing evil young people will doubt their own eyes, and heart, old people will get overwhelmed and give trying to stop it, or give in and doubt themselves.

Now down is up and up is down. And there is nothing wrong with asking Sarah to look at what she is doing, mainstreaming homosexuality. I don't think she would disagree either. You shall know the truth and the truth will make you free.

Now you're implying that Sarah Palin is promoting evil by having Tammy Bruce as her friend, and that Bruce defending/promoting Palin is mainstreaming homosexuality? Wow... just wow.

If Tammy Bruce were part of the radical gay agenda, you might have an argument. But she's been a vocal leader against the things you describe. She's helped expose the radical gay agenda and distanced herself from them.

This at least a two-issue discussion as Bruce also favors the right to kill unborn children, too. Sorry, I don't trust a woman that is lesbian, that favors gays in the military and the right to kill the unborn. If that is in my tent, I'm unzipping it and leaving it.

The homosexual agenda is being used like sledgehammer by the left to strip away a variety of rights from the populace. That makes it a very a big problem.

Just got back from the movie. Saw it in Independence MO. After watching it I came away with two thoughts. 1,Palin should run for President. 2, people who talk about Palin in a negative way (talking RINO and Lib) are ignorant fools.

Palin is America.
