Posted on 05/09/2011 8:35:43 PM PDT by RobinMasters
Evidence continues to mount that President Obama was adopted by his Indonesian stepfather, Lolo Soetoro, raising concerns over his presidential eligibility.
Obama's American mother, Ann Dunham, separated from her first husband, Barack Obama Sr., in 1963 when the president was 2 years old. Dunham and Obama Sr. are reported to have later divorced.
In Hawaii, Dunham married Lolo Soetoro, an Indonesian, in 1965 and moved to Indonesia in October 1967.
Divorce documents filed in Hawaii on Aug. 20, 1980, refer to Obama as the "child" of both Soetoro and Dunham, indicating a possible adoption in the U.S.
Jerome Corsis new book, "Wheres the Birth Certificate?", is now available for immediate shipping, autographed by the author, only from the WND Superstore
The divorce records state: "The parties have 1 child(ren) below age 18 and 1 child(ren) above 18 but still dependent on the parties for education."
The records further identify the "oldest child" as "in university."
"Mother resides with youngest child in 4-bedroom house provided by mother's employer," continues the divorce documents.
The documents identify the minor as Obama's stepsister, Maya Soetoro.

Don't know, don't care. Wherever he traveled, and whomever paid for it or his education, has absolutely no legal bearing on his American citizenship statutes.
Granted that. But that is only his name. Not his signature. And he denied his supposed son in at least formal documents between 1961 and 1963. And with the formal divorce filing 1964 - the records have been ‘cleaned up’. Not recently probably in 1964. If his name was not on the initial record it was after that divorce. That divorce is the anchor and the scorched earth to everything prior. As it was done in the 1960s.
But did Obama even KNOW he had a son? Or did he ever acknowledge it for doubts before 1964? Other than old hippie governor there is no collaborating evidence - formally or informally that Obama Senior ever acknowledged his namesake until April 1964.
Here is a citation of young Barry dreaming of becoming the PM of Indonesia. No need to provide it to the SP. He demands a link, and then dismisses anything you give him. I speak from experiences.
Who would be the one who issues a valid marriage license over in ukulele land???
How is the travel agenda of Obama's mother relevant to OBama's citizenship? Where she was in 1964, or why she was there, is immaterial to her son's citizenship, is it not?
"Pregnancy termination? After all one baby for a single mom in 1964 had to be hard. Two?"
Why would a woman who had family in HI, and was herself living off and on in HI, leave HI - one of the few states during the 1960s where abortion was legal - to travel to the Philippines to have an abortion? And, was abortion even legal in the Philippines? As catholic and Muslim as that country was and is, I would doubt it, highly.
Again, I don't think it has any relevance on Obama's citizenship, but I am fascinated by your logic.
Maybe to you, but NOT to some of us followed this case way, way back including brought to light in court cases!
By his own admission!!
By his wife's own admission and even a Grandmother and other family members plus the Kenyan U.S. Ambassador and a plethora of other sources on records!!!
First, keep in mind the context in which we're debating this issue - the question being discussed is "Was Obama adopted in Indonesia, and if so, why doesn't his HI birth certificate that was released, reflect that adoption"
In that context, it doesn't matter if Obama's father did or did not know about his own son's birth, ever really. All that matters is how Hawaiian law viewed Barack Obama as Jr's legal parent. If they were married in the eyes of the HI law, which seems clear that they were, and Sr's name is on the birth certificate, and clearly it was, then Stanly Ann Dunham would have had to sue to terminate her ex-husband's parental rights before a step-parent adoption could have been recognized by HI law - which would then have allowed a HI judge to issue a court order to amend the birth certificate.
There is absolutely no evidence any of that happened.
And, BTW, even if ALL of that did happen, it would have had absolutely no impact on Obama's citizenship status as he CLEARLY returned to the US WELL before attaining the age of majority, which by any account would have FULLY preserved his US citizenship.
To date, not a single court has moved to take this issue up. And, in every understanding of existing US statutory and constitutional law, the ONLY way to remove a sitting president is by impeachment in the House and conviction in the Senate.
I'm sorry you're either too obtuse to understand these very elementary American jurisprudential concepts, or too argumentative to care.
Personally, I agree with Mark Levin on this issue. Period.
You just got to remember that his wife is a college professor, maybe here in FLa, and his friend is also of that same breed brainwashing the kids' head scull full of mush, so phluease have some mercy!!!
Lets be clear here aka Ms WKA. You do know that Marie Elg’s parents were American citizens at the time of her birth in the United States. She was born on soil and received her US citizenship from her father by blood making her a Natural Born citizen.
To get it real clear, apart from his father signing the b.c., are you referring to his NBC status???
Stimulus money at work!!!
Yeah, so I've noticed. Trolls are like that.
WHYYYYY does WND keep reporting this obvious lie? They never were together in the first place. It's a bit difficult to be the happy little family if the wife and husband are two states and 3000 miles apart.
So tell me, what do YOU want to be when you grow up?
Except Hussein claims they were poor. Nice perks in a third world country where people had dirt floors.
Why do you hate America?
