President Obama was unable to take timely or effective measures to deal with the crisis in Libya because of scheduling problems according to new Press Secretary Jay Carney.
Massacres of civilians, disruption of oil deliveries, and the rescue of Americans from danger arent the only things on the Presidents plate, Carney huffed. Unions are being assaulted in Wisconsin. Thats a lot closer to home than some ruckus in Asia. The Presidents focus on domestic tranquility is, I think, appropriate.
As for the time the President spent coaching his daughters basketball team, Carney pointed out that the regular coach couldnt make the game. The President stepped into the breach and saved the day. Providing vital leadership for these young girls at a critical time for them is more than any previous President has done in similar circumstances. Critics need to keep that in perspective before they carp about how he spends his time.

Lets not forget, getting down to Motown....
This is such garbage being spewed from the pulpit of Obama. Seriously, Wisconsin? So Obama said he would march with them, so where is he? Coaching..
Motown party night, dammit!
I guess it’s too much to ask those countries in the Middle east to put off everything so our loser president can schedule around it.
“Providing vital leadership for these young girls at a critical time for them is....”
...what the hired help is for, when you have a country to run.
The teleprompter on the blitz again?
More like conflicts of interest. Between the 400k obama gave him, the obama mama visiting gadaffi, gadaffi referring to obama as his son, etc, something else is going on under the surface.
Ya know...I don’t find these satire pieces as humorous as i once did...
How can you blame Obama for keeping his mouth shut? He is no better than the other swine being deposed....
Is this satire? Are those real quotes?
Aww. Give the guy a break. He has his hands full as his wife’s a$$ grows bigger than the national debt.
This guy is a joke, not a President. You hear me obama? You're a fool, an idiot, and worse. Scheduling problems?...Scheduling problems?! What, you expect the world to revolve around you and crisis to arise only when it is convenient for you? obama, if you had any experience as a leader, upper level manager, and/or as an executive you'd know that you can't foresee everything, and that sometimes you just have to deal with issues as they come up.
Ok, giving obama the benefit of the doubt for a moment. Maybe he really did have something more pressing going on. Something bigger than an oil-producing Country melting down into anarchy, thousands of innocent people being gunned down in the streets by their repressive and oppressive government. What, I don't know, but let's play what-if. If there really was something more pressing, couldn't your team have come up with a better excuse? Something that didn't make you sound aloof, disconnected, foolish, ill-prepared, un-caring, and well, just plain stupid? Sheesh, former President Carter was roundly criticized for being trapped by his Presidency and always in react mode. You're sliding into the same mold - at least when it comes to international relations. BTW - that's one of the more favorable things I've ever said/thought about you obama, that you're as bad as former President Carter. From me, for you, that's high praise.
The Presidents focus on domestic tranquility.
Detroit Obama has other unions to save too.
I thought it was $400 million.
Exactly what I said...
like say ‘throw parties’ and vacation all the time???
I think the Obama Administration is ‘running scared’ and they should!!!!!!!!
Have a Blessed Lord's Day everyone...
