If just about any other religious minister had been killed, the media would be making a point to report it. The media is conspicuously silent about this man's death and the wounding of his wife.

F the media. They have really outdone themselves during this incident - and thats saying quite a bit.
They disgust me beyond words.

“Also recovered in the safe was an envelope with handwriting on the envelope stating ‘I planned ahead,’ and ‘my assassination’ and the name ‘Giffords,’ along with what appears to be Loughner’s signature,” the affidavit states.

I cried when I read the story of what Mr. Stoddard did. He threw himself on top of his wife to save her. He died saving his wife.

If he was an Imam, no doubt the media would be reporting about this all day and pretending not to incite violence from fellow muslims, but all the while telling everybody they “hope it doesn't happen” at ad nauseum.

The atheists want to destroy Christianity because it is what made this country a great, exceptional place. It is also a reminder that our Rights come from God and our laws were based in Natural Law which is the origin of common sense. Marxist want no rational thinkers, no reason and logic. It exposes their ugly lies. The Marxist media does everything in their power to marginalize Christianity and wipe that word out of the conscious of the nation. If they do use the term it has to have a negative connotation. Marxism is all about lies.

A good man and husband.

One does wonder what a church of Christ preacher and his wife were doing around a politician from the far left. Did it seem to them that visiting with Giffords in a grocery store parking lot would be the way the Holy Spirit would use to convict Giffords of her sins?
That would seem rather doubtful.
OTOH, one can easily doubt the Left-wing shooter would recognize the preacher and his wife, to pick them out as targets, though perhaps whatever demonic spirit possessed the shooter did.

since Rodney King I have been convinced the mainstream news media is seeking to incite violence. Thats the real irony here.

I don’t think the Congresswoman was necessarily far left.

Giffords is a blue dog democrat, not a leftwing wacko.

On C4P...
"On January 8, 2011, a search warrant was executed at 7741 N. Soledad Avenue in Tucson, Arizona, where LOUGHNER resides. Some of the evidence seized from that location included a letter in a safe, addressed to Mr. Jared Loughney at 7741 N. Soledad Avenue, from Congresswoman Giffords, on Congressional stationary, dated August 30, 2007, thanking him for attending a Congress on your Corner event at the Foothills Mall in Tucson. Also recovered in the safe was an envelope with handwriting on the envelope stating I planned ahead, and My assassination and the name Giffords, along with what appears to be LOUGHNERs signature."

I don’t think that preacher look at wings. Maybe they just wanted to hear what Rep Gifford had to say.
To: MeneMeneTekelUpharsin
**** Seems the media hasn’t had much to say about that. *&***
We don’t watch T.V so called, “news”, here.

May Brother Stoddard receive a warm welcome from our Lord, and I’ll say a prayer for his wife and other family.
