Team Coakley (DNC) dressed in purple for SEIU, hits back.
The DNC AG in Massachusettes (spelling by Attorney General Coakley)
feigns interest as her agent and SEIU agent and PHRMA lobbyist
brutally attacks a reporter who actually dared to ask a question.

I dont get the objection here. What is wrong with developing new drugs?

Michael Meehan is the man in the photo alleged to have roughed up the Weekly Standard reporter.
WHO IS Michael Meehan?
"Michael Meehan and David DiMartino, the first two Democrats hired by BGR Group" ... "BGR Groups PR gurus Michael Meehan and David DiMartino are leaving the firm after a little more than a year to strike out on their own. The duo is set to launch Blue Line Strategic Communications on Thursday."
"DiMartino said he and (Michael) Meehan, a former chief of staff to Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.) and a former advisor to John Kerry's presidential campaign, hope to continue working with BGR on some projects, though he said they will not be taking BGR clients to the new firm."

Awesome ad. What a fascinating campaign!

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee also dispatched Michael Meehan, a media consultant with ties to Massachusetts, to assist the Coakley camp with messaging.

Weekly Standard Reporter Attacked Outside of Democratic Fundraiser
FOXNews.com
The rough-and-tumble world of politics was on full display Tuesday night when longtime Democratic strategist Michael Meehan was caught on videotape shoving a reporter for the Weekly Standard into a metal railing, reportedly giving him a large tear in his pants.

******
You all remember him during Kerry’s campaign! He was on every talk show imaginable!
Meehan previously served as chief of staff to Senator Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.) and communications adviser to Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.). In April 2004, then-Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry hired Meehan. He had “worked for Kerry almost two decades ago and is one of a handful of longtime Kerry associates on the campaign staff. He also was Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle’s (D-S.D.) political director.”

Like Google is finding out with the ChiComs I bet Pharma is going to regret getting in bed with the Democrats. If Democrats want to allow reimportation, price controls and the like and I was a GOP Rep I would not bother answering the calls when Pharma comes a calling.

I met Michael Meehan in 2004 in Washington when he was working the Kerry campaign.
You never saw a more arrogant, pompous, self-important moron in your life. He spent most of his time speaking on his cell phone in a loud voice so you could hear just how important he was. He expected everybody around to make way for him, and was demanding of every poor receptionist or intern he ran into.
He has never held a real job in his life - just politics. Actually, I wish there were hundreds of him in Washington - because there are THOUSANDS of them.(Unfortunately, the Republicans have a few of them too.)
