Why would one after so many years later record their birth in a city so far from where they were born?
I was born in Boston and educated in Springfield, MA. I never had need to record my birth in Springfield.
I lived in numerous cities across the Nation while serving in the Marine Corps and never had a need nor a desire to record my birth in those cities either.
I just think it's just odd. Don't you?

So you found another 'official' birth record in Massachusetts. It not only reflects very poorly, (understatement) on Obama, but on our systems as well.

I am required to get a certified version of my certificate of birth in order to simply visit Canada now, (passport required), is visiting friends in Quebec is a more significant act, than being President of the US?

What this is really exposing is how little America's 'royalty', needs to pay any attention to the laws which are so vigorously applied to the little citizen on who's back these fat bastards are riding.

I tried it also .. it gave me the right birthday - but the location was incorrect - along with the zipcode

Jr lived in Somerville while he attended Harvard and he accumulated over $400 worth of parking tickets which remained unpaid until they were paid off in Jan/07 shortly before he announced his run for the Presidency.

I tried it. It came up with the correct birthdate and the city was where I used to work....and where I filed to last get my passport renewed.

My guess is they are using passport files (at least as one source) for location.

I typed in mine - nothing came up using either maiden name or married name. Same for my husband. Guess we don’t exist. LOL.

Read the explanation: they say the location is not necessarily where you were born, just where you lived when the info was collected. The passport theory sounds like a good one if that’s public info, as it came up with my town from when I last got a passport.

Chief -- These are records similar to Ancestry's Public Records database. They don't indicate place of birth, or even a verifiable identity, but simply that there is a public record of someone of a certain name living in a certain city at a certain age. Depending on when you access the record, it simply updates to the current age based on the age at the time of the record.

It means nothing, except that there is a record of Obama from some database (possibly court records, as per the tickets), in Somerville.
