I have a feeling this is going to turn into the usual bash-women thread that has grown so popular on FR with all the bitter, divorced guys chiming in, lol.
I hope it doesn’t devolve that way. There are serious issues related to marriage and family and interactions between the two sexes. I sure hope we can all discuss in a reasonable intelligent, dare I say, an adult civilized manner.

We/you/us really don’t know who is who on this thing so it seems to be an unsubstantiated remark.
Why any man, with a few bucks in the bank and a decent career, would ever consider a marriage (a one sided contract enforced by the State) is beyond me. There is zero advantage for a man to marry, period. The family and domestic violence courts are stacked against the man and the word of the woman wins every time.
The problem here is Biblical. The Bible tells us in Genesis that woman will do everything in her power to attempt to usurp Biblical authority from the man. That is why throughout history, society did what was necessary to keep women in their place, because men knew that an untamed woman with all of the rights and duties of a man would result in social chaos.
In our current society, women are feral. They hold all of the cards and call all of the shots. They use the no-fault divorce to “test out marriage” and then when things don’t go their way they move in with the boyfriend and file for divorce. They get the kids and half of all property. It is a sad state of affairs. But what is even more depressing is the beta cucks I see being over-lorded by their GF/wives.
I mean, just think in a historical context...could you ever imagine a Roman solider or English constable coming to a man’s home to arrest him for straitening out his wife and maintaining discipline in his home? No way. And that’s the issue: Woman Biblically require discipline. Our ancestors knew this. Without it, they run wild as you see today.
Oh, they’ve been bashing women here since at least 15 years ago.

You miss the point...it’s not just people who have been screwed over, it’s the effect that they have on others who have not been screwed over. I’ve been married for over 25 years (to the same person, although opposite sex) - only marriage for either of us. The difference is that she wasn’t born in this country.
But I paid a lot of attention to men getting screwed over (even 25 years ago), so made a point to never marry an American girl...it paid off.
Others, often, are not attracted to women from countries where marriages aren’t viewed as disposable (including many of my friends), so they end up never getting married...again, because they understand the huge risks in marrying an American Woman.
No not bitter, awake and empowered in my case. Gave my entire life to my wife and responive to her needs/desires. Not enough apparently because of her entitled nature.
Abandoned me and our children. What kind of female moves 2,000 miles away from young childten? Hired a pit bull lawyer and have permanent custody. The entitlement culture that encompasses many females today is a reality.

Not all men “bashing” women are anti-women.
Many of us observed the situation for these past 50-yrs and have a different perspective on things. (I’ve been married to the greatest woman ever. We married when we were in college and at the young age of 21).
Again, just because some men find the risks outweigh the rewards doesn’t automatically mean someone is spewing “hate.”
Many of the posts a not “hating,” just a recognition of how things changed and now the entire world is now different.
Teach college and you will observe how much things have changed.

My view of men and women today....white men and women...my tribe
