We/you/us really don’t know who is who on this thing so it seems to be an unsubstantiated remark.
I am sure she thinks we just can’t handle a “strong woman.”
Zookeepers handle wild animals
Prison guards handle convicts
Orderlies handle lunatics
When I come home from a week long jury trial on a Friday night the last thing I want to “handle” is a wife.
To which I observe fairly often: I have watched many men marry unsuitable, stupid, immoral, lazy females because of a hip-to-thigh ratio, a pair of legs and other things that come in pairs. Then it falls apart, the men get fleeced, and vow to hate women forever.
"Women are too emotional"--I hear this from men who can't control themselves long enough to make a rational assessment of a woman's character before marriage.
Facial symmetry? Check. Small waist, perky breasts? Check. Good family/mental health/spirituality/work ethic/kind heart/honesty?
Did you really stop to notice?
Add to that all the bitter divorced, never married, single women (with cats ;)). Bitter males and bitter females.
