Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr.'s admonition that free speech under the US Constitution doesn't give you the right to shout "fire" in a crowded theater.

OWH was fos, you can do anything you want, what he neglected to say was that there are repercussions for doing it.

BTW, you can yell fire in a crowded theater with no repercussions...if there really is a fire.

In fact, if you knew there was a fire and didn't warn the peoples you would be responsible for the consequences.

Nothing could have prevented this.

The entitlement mentality fed by liberal politicians and the LSM have given people like Holmes the idea that they can do as they please. Hollywood is the fuse and liberal hatemongers are the fire.

Liberals scream gun control and one of their koolaid drinkers is more than willing to step-up and give them fuel for the fire. I find it strange that the moment a liberal pol. starts talking about GC, then something like this happens. Gabby Giffords was their first poster child. Now they will have 12 more innocents to add. Never let a crisis go to waste.

Sure took attention away from F&F and security leaks though.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the biggest single cases of mass murder inflicted on US citizens was 911, OKC bombing, and the Happy Land Social club fire.

Nobody got shot by an evil gun in any of those events.
