It's not supposed to snow in Memphis, is it?

We get snow every few years...It stopped shortly after it started. During the day yesterday we got a total of about 2 inches...schools are closed. The first year we moved here 87, there was a THREAT of snow and they closed the schools. That year our snow removal equipment consisted of 2 guys on the back of a city dump truck throwing sand/cinders on the road. They now have about 4 small plows blades to stick on the trucks. No BIG snow plows like they have in Northern States of MI or WI.
