[The Real Deal]

Seeing those pictures reminds me of being glad that I didn't marry until I was out of the Navy. I saw many other sailors have to say good bye to their loved one's on several different deployments. Leaving was much harder for them than it was for me. As a matter of fact, I kind of liked going over seas.

That's for sure. I waited until after I got out to get married. If I had gone for a career it would have been different but it was tough watching the married guys have to say goodbye.
