General MacArthur began planning an amphibious assault

Pardon me while I throw up. For an accurate representation of what actually happened regarding the landing at Inchon one should read "First to Fight" by Victor Krulak and "Marine! The Life of Chesty Puller" by Burke Davis.

I've read Marine a while back but I'll have to get a hold of "First to Fight". I take it that MacArthur took the credit for other peoples ideas. It's been a while since I've read anything about Inchon but I do remember there was controversy about the decision.
