Fort Drum had this nice night back in August 2000, it was unseasonably cold. And we (advanced party) got caught by surprise by it. We were only supposed to be away from the battery for three hours.. they ended up overnighting somewhere on Alexandria road after having to deal with the OpFor without us. So most of our gear was back with our respective gun sections. (The captain wouldn't let us bring our gear along on the AP humvee.)

So we went to Mopp 4 to keep warm. (Full bio-chem gear.)
