General Shinseki, got no use for that man. He's way to PC for me. The Stryker and the beret have to be two of the worst ideas I've seen come out of him.

I call the guy General "Pop-a-Quaalude" Shinseki, because that's the only way anyone who has served in uniform could possibly get ideas like that.

Unless he's of the PC frocked officers.

I still think the guy should go to either Fort Sill or Fort Drum and watch vehicles get stuck in sand. As a Paladin or an Abrams drives by and flips the "wheelie" off....

I was in an M119A1 105MM howitzer unit. I loved that thing. Helo portable, an accurate. Rather nice field piece. Phased out last year, right after I left.

I was working for (as a contractor) an Army O-4 - a real, live Ranger - when that beret thing happened. Talk about one pissed off individual.

Sad thing when the top leadership starts playing the PC game. Actually, it's sick.
