It would appear that Holly and Connie are city from the same cloth. Connie even brought in liberal general (retired) Claudia Kennedy to do a fundraiser for her in 2008. Kennedy is a big liberal - supports gays in the military, women in combat, among other things. The photo below is of Pillich and Kennedy from that event.

I was at a ceremony at The Wall when Kennedy was a speaker. During her speech, she inexplicably screamed, YOU GO, GIRL! I think it had to do with the accomplishments of women in the military, which are considerable, but no one could quite figure out what her comment had to do with Vietnam veterans. Um... the nurses were awesome, but I don’t recall any female infantry or combat units in that war... I came away from the speech thinking she was something of a dingaling. So now she is chilling with Connie, huh? And notice something interesting about that pic? The retired general is wearing a plain suit. The politician is wearing a chestfull of medals - illegally - and Kennedy still poses with her.
