Trump seen him to the door, and basically said see ya. Romney took no questions, and had no reply when someone yelled out whether he still thinks Trump is a con man.
My take is if he were seriously being considered for SOS, both would have walked out and made a joint statement of solidarity.
After Romney said a few words to the press, he turned to his right, where he had gotten out of a white car upon arrival. The car had been moved to his left where it looked like the front passenger door was locked before Romney apeared to tap on the window to signal to the driver. No one opened the car door for Romney either time though a woman greeted him upon arrival.
