Yes, as you said, the power of the purse is mighty. I suspect many in NYC voted for Hill, so they’ll still go to the play. At least one person wrote in to F&F and said they have had tickets for months and now they don’t want to go. F&F folks have said the tickets are VERY pricey.

Whorealdo and others are talking about Jeff Sessions and some comments he apparently made 30 years ago.

General “Mad Dog” Mattis is meeting with Trump today. I couldn’t remember much about him so did a little research this a.m. He reminds me a little of Patton (even looks a little like him) - who, as you know, is one of Trump’s favorite generals. I think he’d make a great Sec of Defense.

A very busy day for our President today.

He has scheduled to meet with Gen. Mattis along with some folks I will have to read up on as I have never heard of them.

For those that haven’t seen it, interesting thread on Jim Webb. He isn’t necessarily my cup of tea, but I think he’s more of a centrist Democrat and has a very good background. I could be wrong, but I seem to remember hearing him say he wasn’t going to vote for Hillary. I don’t see him as Sec Def, but he might be a good Ass’t one (a position he held in the past).

COMEBACKS TO TRUMP HATERS. I received a FReep Mail from a thread participant expressing frustration with a co-worker. We all have them, no doubt, to some degree in our life. Family, co-workers, neighbors, social clubs etc. These people who incesstantly trash talk DJT. Our Deplorable mentioned this party bragging about going to DC in Jan for the walk against Trump.

What are your ideas for comebacks.. (and we know they spout off as truth all the lies the MSM has provided). Normally I just don't engage these folks. In the flight or fight scenario, I am definitely a bird.

My first thought … “Oh you don’t want to make America Great Again?”
