There is no stigma associated with Paul's last name?
His dad had some good ideas...and a lot of bad ideas. Not to mention some strange notions. On balance, he played the gadfly and was a horrible candidate...as his single-digit support levels reveal.

Like I said, I’m not endorsing him and don’t see myself voting for him in the primary, but Paul has a very good leg up on having a very formidable organization. Which is 1/3 of the equation (the other thirds being candidate performance and ideology/policy preference).
