It’s the drugs. Plus the idiot utopian idiocy of Libertarianism. Appeals to the inner adolescent, like a drug in itself. The need to idolize that some people have, cult followers looking for a cult leader. And also I wondered yestereday, how many of these younger Ronulans grew up in a fatherless or otherwise broken home; so the grandfatherly aspect appeals to their need for a father figure.
