There are some on this site who think a people without a military anything, who have to steal our planes for missiles, improvise bombs, and blow themselves up are a threat to us. Look at FEMA, when FEMA first came on the scene there was much ado about it--novels written about how FEMA would take over America with draconian 'emergency' rule.

Well, Katrina showed FEMA to be another completely ineffectual government agency. Oh, draconian alright, but so disorganized and corrupt as to be of no use or much of a threat.

If we had a sleek, rational, conservative government I would be much less concerned about letting them send 'our boys' abroad.
