You are correct. I’ve met several Democrats at Ron Paul meetups. But I’ve also met more Republicans there than anything. Is it a bad thing to have a truly conservative candidate that is able to garner support from all over the political spectrum? Isn’t that how you’re supposed to win elections? By taking votes away from the other guy?
Think of all the Democrats and Independents RP is winning over primarily because of the anti-war message that will discover his fiscal conservatism and look into it and grow to understand it. We are witnessing a MASSIVE political realignment and I couldn’t be happier.
Dr. Ron Paul is a blessing for this nation at a time when we’ll need him most.
I disagree with his foreign policy...and even if all of America reverted to the 20’s mentality of ‘nothing is wrong at our borders then we’re okay’...I would still not support him.
