Right. I looked at some websites after I heard Krauthammer say Huckabee lied about a degree in Theology. I trust Krauthammer but he wasn’t specific.

As I said, the honorary degrees were awarded in 1991 while Huckabee was preparing to run for governor of Arkansas. The honorary degrees were awarded by Christian universities. I presume the degrees were given to Huckabee because he claims to be a Christian and these institutions—at the prospect of having a “Christian” become a governor—were willing to pad his resume. You’re right that these degrees are academically worthless but they can have some political value.

His Bachelors degree comes from Ouachita Baptist University. This is a legitimate liberal arts college with high national academic standing. I can’t find out what discipline Huckabee’s undergraduate degree is for. They don’t say on his website or Wikepedia or anywhere else. I imagine if the Ouachita degree was in Theology he would post that on his website. If I had to guess I would say it is for something like Counseling or Social Work.

Later on Huckabee attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary for an unknown period of time before dropping out.
