I used to be very active on FreeRepublic, especially in 2003 during the Iraq War, and organized many rallies in support of the men and women who were being sent there (there are many posts archived on FR on these rallies that I helped organize).
However, when the lies of Iraq War finally dawned on me and when I realized that most Freepers are just blind-followers and cheerleaders for the neo-cons and their wars of naked aggression and occupation, I stopped posting.
However, today is a great day to see some here at FreeRepublic cheering on Ron Paul whom I believe to be the last hope for America. If he safely makes it to the White House, it will be a great great victory not only for the United States, but for the world.

I like your tag line. It is almost the same as mine. Ron Paul will easily pass $4 M. today.

(Our last chance to change the direction of the country -- Ron Paul)

Thanks for dropping by this thread and posting. I think a lot of fiscal conservatives and libertarian small-government conservatives are responding to Ron Paul's message and getting active again in politics. It was exciting to see Dr. Braun get elected in to the House in Georgia, perhaps a sign that a message like Ron Paul's can be a winning one in 2008. This moneybomb indicates a broader movement with the means to promulgate a message. More people begin to see that there is more potential for Ron Paul to win the nomination than anyone had previously thought, perhaps even his own campaign.
Currently: $3.7M today, $6.8M for Q4.
