To: Commie Basher

I'm proud to be a Libertarian. I agree with most views espoused by conservatives. There's a problem though, most of these conservative viewpoints I agree with are being talked about by people in talk radio and on the web in fine forums such as this. Not in D.C. by supposed conservatives elected to office.

Libertarians lose national elections because they won't toss what they believe in out the window so they can garner votes.

You should take a look at your party. It's loaded with socialists with an "R" in front of their name instead of a "D" because they see which way the wind is blowing.

That may be so, but why do the dems shrink away from being called "liberals"? That's what they are that's the "way the wind is blowing", so why do they run from it?
