You're a rare creature, CG.
A Novus Ordo Buchananite.
Even Buchanan thought the war in Afghanistan was a "Just War." You and Noam Chomsky didn't.
I don't get that one. At all.
Maybe you'd like to ask the women of Afghanistan if they'd rather go back to wearing burkas and being beaten by their "men."

Fasting and Prayer is needed to drive out the demons in the Dogs of War about to be unchained<> Muslims will chop your head off while you're fasting and praying.
No. This is kill or be killed, CG. You don't talk, you don't negotiate, you don't bring peace offerings.
You kill. That's too bad, but you don't bring a knife to a gun fight.
Do you ever think what you might be driven to do were a country more powerful than us declare publicly "We are going to take out George Bush?" and then establish "No Fly" zones over Texa, Arizona, New Mexico, and Connecticut, New York, and Massachusettes and then intentionally target and destroy municipal water supplies and withold baby formula ect ect ect
If George Bush had starved me the way Hussein is starving his own people, I wouldn't have waited for somebody else to take him out.

Mr. Peirce fought with the Rhodesian freedom fighters (the Ian Smith side, of course). Your hero fought with Ian Smith's racists - this being the same Ian Smith, whose stupid, racist revolt virtually ensured the ultimate radicalization of Zimbabwe.
You're taking insane political advice from a moron like this?
And I won't even go into the whole issue of comparisons of Hitler to Bush, or the fact that he's in bed with that cretin Rockwell.

Pierce is a libertarian idiot, a craven follower of the "blame America first" crowd led by Harry Browne.
Anybody who compares George W. Bush to Hitler has lost touch with reality.
Military credentials mean little when you hate your country.

I've said it before; the extreme right wing meets up with the extreme left wing and they end up holding hands and skipping and singing, "tra-la-la-la-laaaa!" all the way down the garden path of paranoia and delusion.

I never thought "cowboy" and "priest" were mutually exclusive.

Based on anything substantial, or is it just a 'feeling' you have?

"I find it both sickening and frightening such an evil epoch can be reframed as being the Will of God."
So basically you are saying you don't have faith in God. I see.

Codie, the Christian faith is not a PASSIVE faith where all we do is sit around and pray all day. We take action to fight for what is right in this world. Bush is doing that due to his faith and it is time we stop attacking him with some heretical crazy idea that he is a threat and instead praise God that we have a man who is guided by a sense of purpose and a recognition of him being chosen for this task.

he is adopting the "good guys" vs. the "bad guys" approach. That's because people who deliberately annihilate thousands of innocents, including women and children, are the bad guys. Those that seek to protect innocents, and women and children, are understood by most to be the good guys.
To: Catholicguy
Bush is going to war, Catholicguy, to protect you and me and our children (if you have any). He knows that if we don't fight pure evil (in possession of weapons of mass destruction) now, we will have to fight it later, after millions have been wiped out. He is right. There is nothing wrong with fighting evil. It is required.
