... or at least with a grain of salt.
Lighten up, Mom. Is not all religion based on faith?
WRONG.
I have studied and prayed my way into where I stand. I looked at all the facts of history. I had a pretty good background of what sola had to offer. I saw it in all sorts of manifestations.
I have no argument really . I have no interest in what you believe or where ya end up don...you will have to stand to give account for yourself someday...saying that "they told me" will not cut it
No interest in where I end up? Strange thing for a Christian to say.
But, I consider the source. The #1 poster has "no interest" in where a soul ends up.
Now, that is surely not the message a Christian would send to the world.
Shame on you.
LOL!!!
Has been said about ten million times before.
Nah. Mrs Rn is in love with her own keystrokes.
Facts and rational arguments - water off a duck's back.
Which observation was that?
Fight? I thought this was a conversation. Especially, when you you brought up my kids marrying "mormons."
There was a post at you about how private Bible study leads to opposing conclusions. I guess you are composing a response to that?
Everyone who reads the bible following the proper critiera, under the guidance of the HS, will come to the same beliefs. LITERALLY, HISTORICALLY, GRAMMATICALLY.
Becky
Well and good. Strange, though, that there are so many conflicting results from that exact prescription.
Is that the fault of the "HS" (sic) or a flawed presupposition?
Not so strange really when you consider how many people go to the bible to PROVE what they want it to say, rather then to find out what it actually says. Not to be argumentative here either, I find it stange at how many catholics have different intrepratations of the catechism. Same thing.
