No, but interestingly enough, that colt is always referred to in the OT as "the donkey". I see that the doc has a clue too, so I consider him as living on your street. Nobody else so far.

I'm not advocating a "paradise" on this earth.

I hope no one thought I suggested that you had.

My point was that both millennial camps are doing far better at exposing the apparent contradictions in the views of the opposing camp than in providing a full explanation of their own position to refute the criticism of the opposing camp. [why am I so wordy!]

Anyway, the problems each camp has with believing the other reminds me of how many arguments the ancient Jews must have had over the promised coming of the Messiah and how and when it would happen.

And didn't the manner of the fulfillment of that central Christian prophecy surprise everyone? Even Jesus' own disciples and family? Even to the point that so many Jews refused (and still refuse) to recognize it? I think so. Maybe all the millenarian factions are in for some surprises before the end of time.

Oh Woody --- you just told a big fat lie and you lie continually on this thread about what other people said. You fit the characterization of a "talebearer" and "slanderer". Remember, liars shall not inerit the kingdom of God. If you have to lie and misrepresent what someone else says in order to win an argument, your argument is lost as well as you.

And you continue to evade my question. Are you afraid ot the answers. When will Zechariah 14:16 happen, before the earth is burned up or after?

Ignore everyone but the doc for awhile. Pray and take it to the upper room. The rewards are great. Don't you just love this stuff, the Word of God? later

"He saw the souls of those killed (Beheaded). Not Souls (which could be people), and not Martyrs, but the "Souls, of the martyrs!" "

Actually, the Greek tells us that John sees 2 distinct groups of souls. You don't get that from reading the NIV and some of the other translations. You ~do~ read of 2 distinct groups of 'souls' from the KJV and NASB if you look closely:

Rev 20: 4 (NIV) And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands.

This reading speaks of only one group of 'souls'.

Rev 20:4 (NASB) And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand

Rev 20:4 (KJV) and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands

Rev 20:4 (Greek) and the souls of those beheaded on account of the testimony of Jesus, and on acount of the word of God, and those who did not do homage to the beast, nor his image, and did not receive the mark upon their forehead, and upon their hand;

'Souls' of Group 'A': those beheaded on account of the testimony of Jesus and on the account of the word of God.

'Souls' of Group 'B'; those who did not do homage to the beast, nor his image, and did not receive the mark upon their forehead, and upon their hand.

You must be referring to the blessing that Jacob gave his sons. Specifically, I refer to the blessing that Jacob gave to Judah.

No, the dynamic relationship that the Lord has with his people. I won't keep you in suspense forever, I just want you to come to the understanding on your own. A mystery is but a revelation to those that love Him. Hear what the Spirit is saying to the church of the Laodecians.

My point was that both millennial camps are doing far better at exposing the apparent contradictions in the views of the opposing camp than in providing a full explanation of their own position to refute the criticism of the opposing camp.

I explained my position: Basic kingdom of God stuff!

Well, the first coming of Christ was intended to be a rock of stumbling for many. Those meant to know had no trouble figuring it out. I'll take the simple explainations from the lips of the Lord as to what it will be like when He returns. I don't expect any surprises, but I do expect that a great many will be completely surprised. Its that whole thief in the night sudden destruction kind of stuff.

The thief was not invited into the Kingdom....He was invited into Parasdise

You are right Mom.
Because the kingdom came with the second coming, not the resurrection of Christ. Which is another inconsistancy for Woody. Paradise was going to hang around until the final resurrection, then there would be no more waiting place.
