YES! The hypocrisy of those who have turned vegetarianism into a bureaucracy is stunning. They display a truly un-nutritional attitude and are clearly vegephobic. Can a cow help it if he's not born a squash? No, a cow is born a cow and as such, blameless for his bovine tendencies. We should open our pantries and refrigerators and accept a steak for what it is.
I think we should organize a chapter of Vegetarians For Choice. We can march on PETA and toss bottles of Heinz 57 steaksauce into their next meeting.

If interested, you can even e-mail me for my wife's famous Spotted Owl Casserole recipe. I understand it tastes just like Bald Eagle.

I love it. "When it comes to meat I'm pro-choice" will be worked into a conversation with a Vegan one of these days.

This whole thing is just ridiculous. I don't see why meat eaters would want to be vegetarians anyway. I mean, really.

While we're laughing, some lawyer is probably thinking this is a good opportunity for a lawsuit.
Modern people think that they've overturned the principle of non-contradiction. But as the philospher J. Budziszewski says, just because we THINK we're no longer bound by logic and reason, doesn't mean that we in fact are not. Reality has a way of intruding itself on our fantasies. Catholics for a Free Choice might think that they are clever, but they are suffering the effects of their insanity, both in this world and in the next.
