This is the end. If y'all can't understand this time, then I wipe off my sandals.

Wiping them off isn't gonna be enough. You'd better get a stick and start scraping. :-)

We need a "who Dave is the most pissed off at" o-meter. Maybe a series of bargraphs with all of our names on each bargraph. I sure hope I'm way up there.

You might be in the top 10, but you'd be nowhere near Havoc and OLD REGGIE!

Dave can't handle Havoc so he ends up resorting to the use of his nasty tongue. It won't be long before he is reduced to cursing.

Havoc duilds himself up as a master, so it is easy to destroy him by pointing out a single flaw. It is much like the enemies of the Church recognize.

(I probably couldn't handle Havoc either. He posts so much stuff it would be necessary to spend hours doing research in order to refute him. Dave has chosen to resort to taunts and dirt.

No dirt. Just truth. Did Havoc yesterday, or did he not rant about baptism and how John's baptism could not be efficaious and that Catholics were stupid for believing so? Well, I told him that he was wrong. That Catholics do not teach that John's baptism was efficacious. Why does our exper on Catholics miss such a simple thing?

Why do you trust him to tell you the truth when on simple matters he fails?

Is this being "dirty" on my part? Is my tongue nasty?

Why would anyone who is honest believe the rantings of someone who has proven to not understand the subject he rants on?

I don't know. Why do you think?

Because they like what they're being told.

Please understand we also don't know HOW an ordinary human soul is created. Marian doctrines in general are logically derived not from any supposed divinity of Mary but from the divinity of Christ. We are agreed that Mary is an agent of the Lord; what we are not agreed on is how important a role she has played in the scheme of things. As great a role as we do assign her, please note that it is her humanity that we emphasize and her subordination to her son.

Baseball Officials Scout Stadium in Rome

By ANDREW DAMPF
Associated Press Writer

ROME (AP) -- New York Mets star Mike Piazza took some practice swings outside the Colosseum as part of a publicity stunt in November. Next year, he could be hitting balls for real in this ancient city.

Officials for Major League Baseball met with local authorities Tuesday to discuss the possibility of playing regular season games in the Italian capital next year.

Murray Cook, an independent consultant who checks out venues for the American professional league, spent part of Tuesday checking out the Olympic Stadium, an 80,000-seat facility that is home to Rome's two soccer clubs.

"This is the first visit in Europe," said Dan Bonanno, MLB's representative in Italy. "We're just getting some ideas, nothing concrete."

Bonanno said Cook was taking measurements to see if the Olympic Stadium could be converted from its current soccer and track and field format into a baseball diamond.

"We were there today looking at all the options, doing all the calculations, checking all the logistics to see if it can be modified," he said.

Last month, senior vice president of MLB International Paul Archey called Italy a "front-runner" for becoming the first European city to host a game "because they have one of the strongest fan bases and they have facilities."

Bonanno hinted that MLB would likely have to reconfigure the Rome stadium to cover some seats, which would make the facility seem less empty in case of a small turnout by Italian fans.

While there is a professional league in Italy, the sport is largely unknown to locals.

Asked about fan interest, Bonanno said: "We're doing some market research. That's another big point."

Bonanno said the plans being discussed were for a two-game series at the "minimum," which would "probably" be held in the June-August period, when no soccer is being played.

In November, Bonanno helped organize a baseball clinic for children in Rome led by Piazza - the Mets catcher who is of Italian descent.

MLB officials have not made plans to visit any other facilities in Europe yet, Bonanno said.

"Rome is a major city," he said. "It has good transport links from the airport and is easily reachable from New York."

Baseball has been aggressively expanding its presence outside the United States and Canada, playing season openers in Monterrey, Mexico (1999), Tokyo (2000) and San Juan, Puerto Rico (2001). The Montreal Expos are playing 22 "home" games this season in San Juan.

MLB Commissioner Bud Selig said last month that he was excited about the possibilities of taking the game to new areas of the world.

I missed it last week. What happened?

Well, Jack had died from the torture. So the bad guys went upstairs to find some epinehphrine to revive him. They kidnapped a doctor to help revive Jack. They successfully did, then they used to doctor to inject Jack with a chemical to paralyz his lungs, slowly.

When the bad guys weren't looking, the doctor helped untie Jack's hands. Then Jack said he was gonna tell them where the chip was. He did the low voice, come closer gag until the bad guy bent over near him.

Then the doctor stabbed him in the back with the nasty medicine. Jack got the guy to tell him who was on the phone, then he shot him (putting him out of his misery, as it woudl have taken 15 minutes for him to slowly die.)

Jack escapes and goes to the rendezvous point. They ain't there, of curse, but then he sees Yousef, in a phone booth near death. He tells Jack that the unrelated amateur bad guys took Kate to her house. She had promised them money if they just gave her the chip. So he heads over, tries to call CTU, but the cell phone gives out.

Meanwhile Kate is with the bad guys and she opens her safe and hands them a stack "about 20,000 Euros." They go "what is this, you said you had money." They find about $1,500 in cash and are not satisfied. They soon realize they have to kill her, or she will tell on them.

Kate runs for her life, and is about to be shot when --- in comes Jack, killing one of the bad guys. The other ones flee to her bathroom. Jack tells them he is a federal agent and just wants the chip. The oaf threatens to stomp on the chip and starts shooting through the door.

Meanwhile at the president's place, Lynn starts a fire in a trash can and gets the goon to open the door. She hits him with the old fire extinguisher and runs away. He chases her down a stairwell, hits her and she falls several filghts straight down the middle of the stairwell.

At CTU, some new weasal shows up and insists that Tony stop giving any support to Jack. The evil chick tries to blackmail Tony into giving her Michelle's job, but he calls her bluff and she tells the weasal that Tony's still devoting resources to Jack. Tony says "Fire me or deal with it."

The weasal says "I don't have anybody to take your place right now, but you'll pay for this."

President Palmer gets antsy as he can't connect with his vice president and seems to be isolated from his staff. He requests Lynn to work on his staement, but the chief of staff guy worms his way out of that.

Later, the President finds out Lynn has been hurt. She has a head injury, among others. She tries to point to the chief of staff incriminatingly, and he grabs her hand and strokes it re-assuringly.

Then the chief of staff assembles a meeting with the VP and the Cabinet, without the president present. As the episode ends, the VP announces that he is of the opinion that the President is incompetent to carry out his duties.

A mercifully Kim-free episode.
