And he had one of the deluxe circular jobs, too. Bet you're jealous now, eh?

Yes, but I have one with the special cat's whisker slide. :)

When will the creationists learn? Their mythology isn't science!

Christians never said that the Bible is science. It is the evolutionists who try to make it out to be science in order to attack Christianity for not being what it never said it was. It is a straw man argument just as the name creationism is a straw man. I know a lot of Christians but I have never met anyone that calls himself a creationist.

I've met a few who claim just that.

There is a Pin River National Park in (I think) Bhutan. It's at the other "Top of the World" (the Pamirs making the original claim.)

But I got this slide rule in 1973, long before the animal-rights movement :) Does that make it (or me) an antique?

Don't get rid of it (not that you would since it was your fathers). Those are pretty rare.

Read back over the thread. Just how much worse can it get?

Trust me, it's been worse at times.

Slide rule?!?! They went out with the Marchant calculators!

Dump on slide rules all you want; I've never seen one yet that was affected by "key bounce".....

;-)

Thank you, but I must admit to being happily preoccupied with a wonderful testosterone-rich fellow scientist.
