Until somebody convinces me that no more newcomers will ever see it for the first time.

I see. I have at least a dozen essays I've written over the years regarding Objectivism, evolution, & other relevant topics - most of them at least a couple screenpages long. I need some guidance, medved: Should I spam each crevo thread with my essays, too?

Personally, I am a very religious person. When I joined these debates about three years ago, I kept an open mind.

You sound like me, only I've been following the debates (not necessarily here) much longer.

But after three years, the Creationists have done nothing but insult my intelligence and have totally failed to support their arguments.

Just like Liberals, you eventually must question why they must use distortions, selective facts, or out right lies to support their position.

I don't know if creationists have insulted my intelligence, but I find some of their tactics very irritating and unacceptable. The evolutionists seem to know their science much better than the creationists. But some tactics used by evolutionists is just as much a turn off for me, and after awhile I just stop reading. I once offered to act as a mediator between the two but only received a response from the creationists. Maybe a moderator isn't needed, but after setting some ground rules, I would request both parties to answer all questions, not allowing anyone to get away with anything, not even name calling. I think it would be fun.

God created the Universe, and science is a quest to understand how it was done. To study science, is to study God, and I never could understand why this seems to be so difficult to comprehend.

I disagree with you here. I don't consider studying science as studying God. As I understand it, science is the study of nature and the natural. God, being God, is outside of nature and actually, supernatural.

His postings are way less insultive than yours.

That's what the abuse button is for; if you think I've insulted somebody in an unwarranted fashion, tell the moderator about it and see if he agrees with you. If he does, he'll (minimally) remove the post. Is there anything complicated about that?

As far as I know, I am basically insulting an ideological doctrine and not individuals other than for Chuck Darwin, Stephen Gould, and a handful of such public figures who can deal with it. What several of the little evo clique have done recently is not the same thing at all. They've posted what amount to vicious personal smears which are borderline for libel and which the FR moderators clearly do not want on their forum. Anybody who can't see the difference is basically blind.

American libel law does not stop at the internet. The fact that I lack the time, money, or inclination to really go after the idiots on talk.origins who keep that kind of thing around on their web site or people who post those things or links to them on other forums does not make having that kind of thing on forums a reasonable idea and the FR moderators know that.

"...insultutive..."

Serious question: Where do you get the word "insultive"? Is that in one of the newer English dictionaries?

Why not have one of your alter-egos (piltdown_woman...) spam it for you? You could claim innocence.

Really I see no difference between you evolutionist ...

You've gotten me confused with one of the others. I'm not an evolutionist... Easy to do on this kind of forum.

If I were to spam these threads like you spam these threads, why would I have to "claim innocence"? Are you admitting that the kind of spamming you do here is wrong?

The big defense of libel is "fair comment and criticism." Once the posts you pulled the quotes from and the posts to which they are replying are taken in context, there is the distinct possibility that they will fall under the fair comment and criticism category. You can prove anything you want by taking quotes out of context, which is called "quote mining" and is mentioned in one of the quotes you mined above.

Now, you have a right to hold whatever crazy ideas you adhere to -- the Constitution says so. However, your spamming each and every thread with those ideas, while it is your "right" shows a horrible lack of courtesy toward others. It is the equivalent of those crazy guys who stand on the street corner calling everyone sinners -- no one actually listens to them, and they are simply annoying everyone around them. Now we have courteously offered you a possible solution -- your very own thread -- but you seem intent on ignoring the feelings of others in the exercise of your right to babble on.
