If my church had a song written from Satan, I would stop going there.
Yes. I thought the term was “worship” music. Where is the worship directed? Toward the Lord makes more sense, imo.
More Him, less me.

one of my favs as a kid we sang in st.mathews missouri synod Lutheran church was
A Mighty Fortress Is Our God.
( early Lutherans were bashed for singing this devils song cuz the melody, like many songs in the old Lutheran hymnal were, gasp, old pub beer drinking song melodies )
no music style or melody is intrinsically evil,
the lyrics
are what make songs “ evil”. jmho.
:^)
If blue is red and pumpkin will daffodils yellow?
One instance at least. After the last supper Mark and Matthew state he and the disciples sang a hymn and then went out to the Mount of Olives. Scholars think most likely the Hallel which is Psalms 113 to 118 which are closely associated with Passover.
“ I prefer old fashion hymns out of old fashion hymn books.”
Me too.
Contemporary Christian Music is not very good and just imitating the world in many ways.
There can be exceptions, I’m sure.
After 13 years of searching for a good traditional Baptist church, we finally landed at a PCA Presbyterian Church.
NO Contemporary “Christian” music.
NO screens flashing lyrics to hymns.
Sing traditional hymns out of actual hymnals.
The day a “praise chorus” rears it’s head will be our last Sunday there.
I find that repetitive *worship* music seems to be more designed to evoke emotionalism than true worship
That is the only account I remember him singing. I can’t recall any place where Paul sang.
One song leader said we only repeat it 8 times. He knew some that repeat it 12 times.
I believe you are underrating Satan’s abilities.
I agree. And Satan can’t create anything. He can copy or distort, but not create.
I suggest you underrate his liabilities.
come on another dumb question!!!
Satan like Hitler would be INCAPABLE of writing anything holy!
dumb question false premise
I watched that one. Eric took regular rock songs and changed “baby” to “Jesus”...
